Hi, my name is Annette and I am a Kitchen Expert at curated.com. I am on a team with my husband, Mike, and we have been in the hospitality housewares cooking industry our entire careers. Now, we love to connect people with products that are going to make their time in the kitchen easier, more fun, and enjoyable. Today, I'm going to be comparing a couple of stainless cookware sets for you.
Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Triple Ply Stainless Cookware 12 Piece Set
The first set that we're going to be looking at is the Cuisinart set. This is a three-ply stainless steel set, made with beautiful polished stainless. I think it looks really elegant. There are some things that I particularly like about this set. One of them is the nice ergonomic handles, and they have a little gap here where it lets air in so that the handles don't get so hot while you're cooking. Another great attribute of this particular set is it has these rolled rims on it, and that provides dripless pouring. So if you're pouring from a saucepan into a sauté pan, you don't have to worry about dripping all over your cooktop.
This set comes with metal lids. It also comes with a steamer insert that fits inside the stock pot. This set is dishwasher safe and it's oven safe up to 550°. It works on all cooktops, and it comes with a lifetime warranty.

KitchenAid 3-Ply Base Stainless Steel Cookware Induction Pots and Pans Set, 11-Piece, Brushed Stainless Steel
So we're going to move on to our next set, and this is the KitchenAid set. This is also a three-ply set, this is brushed stainless. It comes with glass lids which I kind of like because then you can see what you're cooking without having to take off the lid and lose steam and heat. Some neat things about this particular set is it comes with these straining rims, see right here, and they have a little pour spout on there. So you can strain water out when you're cooking something on the cooktop. Also, the saucepans and the stockpot come with measurement marks inside. Which is kind of nice because when you're putting ingredients together, you don't have to use a measuring cup, so that's kind of nice to have. This works also with all cooktops, gas induction, and electric, and it is oven-safe to 500° and 350° with the lids on. This is also 3 ply stainless.
Similarities and Differences
So when I'm comparing the two particular sets, I think you need to decide between whether you want glass lids or metal lids, or if you want something with the straining options like this or the dripless pouring in the Cuisinart set. I think they both come with excellent warranties, and I don't think you could go wrong with either one.
