The Curated Take

4.1/5

The Nordica Navigator 75 CA Skis are ideal for beginner skiers desiring to enhance their skills. They are durable, offering a robust build that withstands various conditions, from terrain parks to icy runs. While they deliver exceptional stability at high speeds and perform well in powder and on ice, they are not the easiest to maneuver, particularly for turning and carving, due to their weight. However, they provide a good balance of sturdiness and playfulness, making them a versatile choice.

Expert Reviews of the Nordica Navigator 75 CA Skis + TP2 Compact 10 FDT Bindings

Marissa F. The Nordica Navigator 75 CA Skis are great for beginners looking to grow their skills. When I first got them, I was a mid-level beginner skier looking to improve turns, keep control on ice and higher speeds, and turn easily. My brother and I were able to use these durable skis. We tested them in the terrain park, down powder-filled runs, on black diamonds, and even in lots of icy runs, and they came out great. They also are very stable at high speeds, powder, and ice. The Navigators are not the easiest skis to turn and carve with, though they are not the hardest either.

Turn Ease

3/5
Marissa F. gave 3 of 5 stars. The Nordica Navigator skis are not the best choice for ease of turning, but they are also not the worst. They get the job done. I just have to go a little faster or more aggressively when turning them. The more I do that, the easier they are to turn.

Playfulness

Marissa F. gave 5 of 5 stars. The Nordica Navigator skis are an excellent choice for playfulness. They are flexible enough to be playful while still staying sturdy. The skis hold up great in the terrain parks, on jumps, rails, boxes, and anything I want to play on, including on the rest of the mountain.

On greens, blues, black diamonds, on the terrain park, aggressive carving and high speeds, and it held up great on everything which is impressive given how playful they also are.

High Speed Stability

Marissa F. gave 5 of 5 stars. The Nordica Navigator skis hold up excellently when going down high-speed runs. I used these skis on the steepest, iciest run I had ever gone down, and they held up. My brother even took them on black and double black diamond runs, and they held up well during his flying down the slopes.

Flotation

5/5
Marissa F. gave 5 of 5 stars. The Nordica Navigator skis are great for powder. I have taken them out on the slopes during and after white-out snow conditions. They kept me afloat and helped me to use the powder to a fun advantage rather than sink and be buried.

FAQs

What was your favorite moment with this gear?

Marissa F. When I was first getting better at skiing, there was a huge icy run that I really wanted to do, but I was a little bit weary due to how steep and icy it was. When I gathered my courage, strapped on these skis, and flew down the mountain, I couldn't believe how stable these things were at such high speeds in icy conditions. That was my all-time favorite moment with this gear.

Why did you choose this product?

Marissa F. These skis were the right height for me. They possessed the durability, stability, and playfulness for what I was looking for, so I chose them and made the right choice.
