The Curated Take
3.7/5
The TaylorMade Stealth HD 2 Rescue hybrid is best suited for mid- to high-handicap players and those with slower swing speeds aiming to minimize a slice. The club is designed to get the ball airborne easily and provide distance with a high launch. It may not benefit advanced players or those who want to work the ball, as some might not like the negative feedback on mishits. Its draw bias, ease of use, and ability to produce long, straight shots make it an appealing choice for players looking to improve their game and enjoy a forgiving club.

Expert Reviews of the TaylorMade Stealth HD 2 Rescue Hybrid
Jorge Arteta Designed for those mid- to high-handicap players or those new to the game. This hybrid helps get the ball up in the air easily and is fun to hit. The first that I noticed at address was how the club laid down on the grass naturally, and I didn't have to fiddle with it. That, to me, is important so that the club can do the work smoothly.
The hybrid has a draw bias, which helps to minimize a slice. The larger overall look of the club and deep center of gravity allow the club to provide distance and high launch. I found that the ball went up in the air quickly and went high, which was really good for approach shots into the green.
Overall, an easy-to-hit club that will earn a smile at the end of a round.
Miguel B. The Stealth 2 hybrid tested was a #3, 19-degree hybrid. This nonadjustable hybrid felt less forgiving than other hybrids tested. However, it should be noted that while perhaps less forgiving, it is certainly more workable than other options. The flat sole and footprint size allow the player to manipulate the head more easily than bigger heads or models with rails. At address the black head allows the player to address and frame the ball nicely. The impact feel of this club is very solid. Unlike a “bouncy” or “springy” face, this feels hard. It gives feedback when not hitting on the sweet spot. Skilled players will enjoy the versatility of this club and the feedback it gives when not hitting pure. It has a mid launch that flew long. It's not the best choice for players looking for maximum forgiveness and a higher launch.
Evan Bliss The TaylorMade Stealth HD 2 hybrid is a club that I have used for a couple of months now. It has amazing feel and control when coming off the club face. When struck, the ball flies consistently and straight. It's definitely something that players should add to their bags to improve overall performance.

Workability
4/5
Miguel B. gave 4 of 5 stars. In my testing I found this club to be quite workable. In testing competitor hybrids that were specifically draw biased I got accustomed to a certain flight path. In sharp contrast the Stealth 2 has a significantly different effect in directions flight. After multiple range sessions, I found directional flight could be varied relatively easily. Some were straight, others were draws, and still others were fades. Now that varied flight was not always on purpose. The ability for this club to manipulate flight shape fairly easily is a quality that certain players desire. If you are looking for point and shoot or corrective flight this club may not be for you.
Forgiveness
3/5
Miguel B. gave 3 of 5 stars. This club is not an extreme-forgiveness hybrid. I found this club difficult to hit flush consistently. Not anywhere near a skilled tour player, I cannot always hit the sweet spot, especially if it is small. Therefore, I was not impressed with the forgiveness attribute of the Stealth 2 Hybrid.
Feel
3/5
Miguel B. gave 3 of 5 stars. When you hit a flush shot you know it. That is certainly the case with the Stealth 2 hybrid. When I hit long, boring bombs I could feel it and it was amazing. Unfortunately, I didn’t hit the sweet spot the majority of times. When you miss, you get negative feedback in this head, and if you aren’t patient enough to work through that feedback this club may not be right for you.
Sound
4/5
Miguel B. gave 4 of 5 stars. This is a heavy-sounding hybrid. Not a high-pitched ping. Not a hollow, weak click. This thing sounds hard. And when you hit it right you know it from the sound and the flight. If you miss you feel and hear the mistake. Those looking for audible feedback in addition to tactile feedback — this club is for you.
Launch
4/5
Miguel B. gave 4 of 5 stars. Throughout my testing, I hit long balls with this hybrid. The direction of the ball varied. Either directional path the ball took, it was always a low to mid launch. The launch never ballooned. It never even got high. So for players seeking a low to mid and boring trajectory, this club is for you. Players needing more assistance with higher launch — this may not be for you.
Distance
4/5
Miguel B. gave 4 of 5 stars. TaylorMade is a distance company. This is a distance hybrid. Like their drivers I found this hybrid to be quite long. The longest hybrid in my testing this year, it was not the easiest to hit on sweet spot with predictability. Skilled players with lots of control will love this club. If you are looking for more forgiveness this may not be right for you.
FAQs
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Miguel B. While on the range I hit several booming, low-trajectory laser shots. I realized that this club could potentially be a distance weapon.
Why did you choose this product?
Miguel B. I was fortunate to try this hybrid to compare against my current gamer which is a 2018 Taylormnad M3 hybrid. I was eager to see what the new design and features could bring to my game.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Miguel B. The value for the money is even depending on the user. I found this to be less forgiving than other hybrids that came in less expensive. However, if you are a skilled player looking for a workable less forgiving hybrid then the value is there.
What do you love about this product?
Miguel B. I love the premium looks and solid sound of this club.
