The Rossignol Sender 90 Pro skis + Xpress 10 GW bindings are a strong choice for beginner and intermediate skiers transitioning from rentals to their own equipment. These skis excel in all-mountain conditions, offering versatility and ease of turning. They provide some off-piste flotation but are not built for deep powder or high-speed carving. The skis are durable and come with easy-to-install, adjustable bindings suitable for all Alpine and GripWalk boots. While they may not be aggressive enough for advanced skiers, their playfulness and ease of use make them a solid option for those looking to develop their skills on various terrains.

Expert Reviews of the Rossignol Sender 90 Pro Skis + Xpress 10 GW Bindings
Lucia L The Rossignol Sender 90 Pro ski is great for beginner and intermediate riders looking for the next step out of a rental ski to transition to riding all-mountain. This ski is super versatile for learners; it performs well all around the mountain for a less aggressive skier. They are super easy to turn on and get on edge well. However, at higher speeds and on steeper terrain, these skis struggle a little bit as the tails start to butter out. The early rise tips of these skis give them enough float potential to get through a little fresh snow, but I would opt for a wider ski for anything deeper than 1ft. These skis come with Xpress 10 GW binding, which is easy to install and adjustable for all Alpine and GripWalk boots. For a beginner or intermediate skier looking to explore the whole mountain and develop their turns, these skis are going to be a solid choice.

Turn Ease
5/5
Lucia L gave 5 of 5 stars. I found the Rossignol Sender 90 Pro to turn with a lot of ease, all around the mountain. Because of the early rise rocker tip, wider tip, and wider tail, these skis are easy to turn, even for beginners. On hard pack terrain, skiers can easily shift edge to edge with the early rise tip and 90mm waist. In the trees or moguls, the ski is quick to turn underfoot as it has a shorter effective edge than other skis and is not extremely heavy.
Playfulness
4/5
Lucia L gave 4 of 5 stars. Having tested a lot of beginner to intermediate skis, I often find them to be a little more on the stiffer and deader side. The Rossignol Sender 90 Pros really impressed me with the amount of play they had. The rocker tip gives the skis a little more versatility in making turns and being quick underfoot. The skis are not going to be the poppiest and most playful on the market, but they do a great job, especially as a beginner- to intermediate-level ski.
Durability
4/5
Lucia L gave 4 of 5 stars. I have seen tons of skis go in and out of rentals to hundreds of customers on a regular basis, and I have to say, the Rossignol Sender 90 Pro skis hold up extremely well. These skis never come back with a chipped top sheet, and even scratches are rare.
High Speed Stability
3/5
Lucia L gave 3 of 5 stars. The Rossignol Sender 90 Pro is designed for learners and will shine on intermediate terrain. However, when you start carving turns on steeper terrain and increasing your speed, you will find that these skis have a limit. While they don't chatter or bump over crud, they are hard to get to a high speed and do not travel fast. The tails are a bit wider, too, so they tend to butter out when carving at higher speeds.
Carving
3/5
Lucia L gave 3 of 5 stars. The Rossignol Sender 90 Pro is great for skiers learning how to develop their carving abilities and grow on the mountain. The early rise rocker tip and narrower waist of the ski make it easy to get on edge and hold that on intermediate terrain. However, when advancing to steeper terrain and traveling at higher speeds, the tails of the skis tend to butter out and reduce the carving ability of the ski.
Versatility
4/5
Lucia L gave 4 of 5 stars. For a beginner ski at a low cost, the Rossignol Sender 90 Pro ski is super versatile. It is hard to find a beginner ski that will give riders the ability to make easy turns, develop their carves, float off-piste, charge through crud, and have playfulness in the ride. This ski can check all those marks for a beginner to intermediate rider. For advanced riders, this ski can be a bit limited.
Flotation
4/5
Lucia L gave 4 of 5 stars. The Rossignol Sender 90 Pro will do well all around the mountain for intermediate riders, and it holds up well in powder and off-piste conditions. The early rise rocker tip and wider tail of the ski will help riders float through smaller amounts of powder and fresh snow. That being said, the ski has a 90mm waist, so for deeper days and heavier riders this ski will probably not perform as well, and a wider option might be better.
FAQs
What do you love about this product?
Lucia L What I love most about the Rossignol Sender 90 Pro is how easy the ski is to set up. With the slide rail bindings, this ski can be ready to ride in minutes and will easily fit any Alpine or GripWalk sole boots. The bindings are easy to adjust.
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Lucia L My favorite moment riding the Rossignol Sender 90 Pro was taking it out on a softer spring day. Because of the wider nose and tail, this ski feels pretty floaty and surfy. It's easy to slash through the softer stuff while feeling stable with the stiffer core underfoot.
Why did you choose this product?
Lucia L I chose to try out the Rossignol Sender 90 Pro as I heard it was a great, super-versatile, and easy-to-turn-on ski. I often recommend this ski to my customers in demos and wanted to understand how the ski performs in order to pair it with the right customer. I loved the way the ski rode, and it's an awesome alternative to the more expensive Senders, especially for a beginner to intermediate rider.
