The Flylow Men's Baker Bib Pants are an excellent choice for skiers and snowboarders seeking durable, waterproof, and comfortable outerwear. With a 20K waterproof rating and reinforced material, these bibs excel in wet conditions, keeping the wearer dry and warm. The velcro waist straps and clip-on straps enhance the fit and ease of use. Despite their high comfort level and versatility, these bibs have some drawbacks. They are not very breathable, and the vents lack mesh, allowing snow inside. These bibs are especially suitable for those who prioritize waterproofing and comfort for extended use in diverse weather conditions.
Ideal for
- Velcro waist straps
- Tons of pockets and zips
- Clip-on straps easy to do and undo
Not ideal for
- Color fades pretty quickly
- Not super breathable
- Vents don’t have mesh so snow gets inside

Expert Reviews of the Flylow Men's Baker Bib Pants
Lucia L I got the Flylow Baker bibs as I was looking for something that would resist the PNW weather. They definitely hold up to the standards. Even though these bibs are just a shell, they hold up super well on the colder and wet days. On warmer days, the water-resistant material of the bibs does get a bit warm, but the outer and inner leg vents do a good job of regulating heat. I do wish these had some form of mesh in them cause snow does get inside of them easily, especially if you are snowboarding. My favorite feature of these bibs had to be the velcro waist adjustment. This detail made it so some ladies I ride with and I could wear the bibs without feeling like we were wearing fishing bibs. So, for any ladies out there, I totally recommend these bibs!

Waterproofing
5/5
Lucia L gave 5 of 5 stars. With a 3L material and 20K waterproofness, the Flylow Baker Bibs hold up on super well on the rainiest days. The material feels pretty thick and impermeable, and there are extra durable patches on the knees if you are a boarder and often kneeling. The zips are almost all taped and waterproof which is going to keep your snacks and phone dry throughout the day.
Durability
5/5
Lucia L gave 5 of 5 stars. The Flylow Baker Bib material feels thick and durable to the touch. The bibs are well constructed and feel as though they would put up with a lot. I have run into a good number of trees, stumps, and other riders while wearing these bibs, and they don't have a single scratch or snag. The knees and boot cuffs are reinforced, which is also a huge bonus to protect the material from getting cut up quickly.
Comfort
5/5
Lucia L gave 5 of 5 stars. The Flylow Baker Bibs are some of the most commonly seen bibs out on the mountain, worn by both men and women. The fit is super adjustable, which makes them really nice to wear for everyone. I personally like a baggier fit, so I chose a men's M. For reference, I am 5'10" and 155lbs, so I'm pretty tall for a girl. These were some of the only bibs I could find that were long enough for my legs and not too big on top. They are pretty baggy, but with the velcro strap on the top part, they can be tightened for a snugger fit. I love the way these feel while riding and often wear them all day through work as well.
Warmth
4/5
Lucia L gave 4 of 5 stars. While the Flylow Baker bibs are just a shell, the material is super thick and waterproof, which increases the heat retained inside. I often found that on the colder days, one to two base layers were more than enough, especially once I started moving. On the warmer days, one base layer would often be too warm, and shorts or opening the vents was often the solution. They are pretty windproof, which also helps to keep warm on the lifts.
Ease of Movement
5/5
Lucia L gave 5 of 5 stars. The Flylow Baker bibs will probably be more comfortable than your daily jeans. I normally wore these bibs all day, every day, even when working inside the mountain facilities. The straps are not too tight, and they can be loosened quite a bit or unclipped to easily get in and out of them. Mine were pretty oversized, so they were comfy and easy to move in. On the slopes they were super easy to move in and did not limit movement in any way, both skiing and snowboarding.
Breathability
3/5
Lucia L gave 3 of 5 stars. The one shortcoming I had with my Flylow Baker bibs had to be in breathability. While they are rated 20k in breathability, the material is very waterproof and impermeable. This makes the material slightly less breathable. When hiking or skiing hard in these bibs, they can get stuffy pretty quickly. The inner and outer knee vents are helpful in cooling down between runs, but the vents don't have mesh inside them, so snow can make its way in, which is less than ideal.
FAQs
What do you love about this product?
Lucia L What I love about the Flylow Baker bib is the side of waist velcro strap that allows me to tighten the upper-body portion of the bib. As a girl, men's bibs tend to be pretty wide on top. Flylow solves that with the velcro strap, making their bibs accessible and adjustable for all.
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Lucia L While I didn't have one particular favorite moment with my Flylow Baker bibs, I really enjoyed riding all around with them. My favorite detail had to be that they were designed for the PNW winter weather, so they held up to all conditions well.
Why did you choose this product?
Lucia L I chose the Flylow Baker Bibs because of the number of features available on the bibs compared to the ladies version. The womens version has a more slim fit, and has fewer pockets. As I was looking for something on the baggier side that could accommodate all of my snacks, the mens Baker Bib was a no brainer.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Lucia L I think the value for money of the Flylow Baker bibs is great. Though it is a fairly high amount, it is a top-of-the-line, high-performing bib. I find features like 3L material, reinforced cuffs, high breathability, 20k/20k waterproofness, and breathability to be must-haves in ski bibs, and the Flylow Baker bibs went above and beyond in meeting my expectations, making the price pretty fair.
