Expert Reviews of the TaylorMade Stealth HD 2 Driver
Jacob Wetzel The Stealth HD 2 Driver from TaylorMade is an exceptional option for players of any skill level who are looking to get more out of their mishits and add a few extra yards of distance. This driver is as long as any in its class, and the Twist Face Technology allows for shots struck on the toe or heel to perform more like shots struck on center.
This club provides the distance required to play aggressively and attack par 5s in two for low-handicap players. The Stealth HD 2 produces the high launch and max forgiveness needed for high-handicap players to get the ball in the air and keep it in play.

Forgiveness
5/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 5 of 5 stars. I tested this driver on the course and the practice tee and hit several shots off the heel and toe—some on purpose and others by accident. I was shocked at how shots that were struck off-center still traveled a playable distance, and my overall shot dispersion narrowed.
Feel
4/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 4 of 5 stars. Shots that are struck off-center with the TaylorMade Stealth HD 2 Driver almost feel like a shot that is struck in the center of the club, depending on how badly I missed it. The lightweight club provides the confidence necessary to swing hard and let it rip.
Workability
4/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 4 of 5 stars. A scratch player who wants to fly the ball in the wind or work the ball left or right will have little to no problem with this driver. It does not have the intense workability of the Callaway Paradigm Triple Diamond, but it is still a respectable option for those with the skills to work a slice or hook. This driver is all about distance and forgiveness.
Distance
5/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 5 of 5 stars. This driver can produce max distance and ball speeds for players of all skill levels. Anyone with a high swing speed can send it, while more moderate swing speeds will pick up much-needed distance and consistency to keep the ball in play and lower scores. Some of the longest drives I have ever hit were with this club.
Sound
5/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 5 of 5 stars. I enjoyed the loud clap of the TaylorMade Stealth HD 2 Driver. I was expecting a quieter sound from the carbon material and was surprised at the impact noise. If one likes to hear a loud pop at impact, the ball flies off the red carbon face with a bang.
FAQs
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Jacob Wetzel My favorite moment with the TaylorMade Stealth HD 2 Driver occurred on the 16th hole at The Links at Stono Ferry in the beautiful Lowcountry of South Carolina. The #16 is a mammoth par 5 that typically requires three well-placed shots to find the green.
I had never hit this green in two until I had the Stealth HD 2 Driver in the bag. With wind slightly off the right, I hit a moon shot drive over 300 yards that reached the turn of the unreachable dog leg, giving me a clear shot at the green. My fairway wood found the putting surface, and two putts later, I was in the hole for birdie.
Why did you choose this product?
Jacob Wetzel I tried the TaylorMade Stealth HD 2 Driver because of Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler in the "Far-giveness" commercial. Any driver endorsed by top players in the world deserves a look in my book.
TaylorMade's Twist Face Technology is incorporated into the clubface to provide excellent forgiveness for shots that are struck off center, keeping one's ball in play. The angles of the toe and heel of the club interact in such a way with the ball at impact that the ball holds most of the distance that would be lost with other driver technology on mishits.
What do you love about this product?
Jacob Wetzel I loved the sound, look, distance, and level of forgiveness that comes with the TaylorMade Stealth HD 2 Driver. The red clubface is sleek and modern, producing a loud "clap" at impact. I picked up distance off the tee and found that my shot dispersion was honed in on shots that were struck off-center.
