The Curated Take
4.8/5
The TaylorMade Stealth HD driver is ideal for mid- to high-handicap players seeking maximum distance and forgiveness. It features TaylorMade's Twist Face technology, enhancing forgiveness on off-center hits. The driver is especially effective for players who want to maximize tee-off distance and achieve closer approach shots. While offering great feel and balance, it is more focused on forgiveness and distance rather than workability, making it less suitable for low-handicap players who prefer more control over ball flight. Overall, it's a top-tier choice for those prioritizing distance and straightness in their drives.

Expert Reviews of the TaylorMade Stealth HD Driver
Jacob Wetzel Some of the longest drives that I have hit to date were produced by the new Stealth HD driver from TaylorMade. Twist Face technology makes this driver highly forgiving on shots that are struck on the toe or heel, producing a result similar to if they were struck on center.
This driver allows top players to max out their distance off the tee and have shorter approach shots into the green. For a mid- to high-handicap player, this driver allows for launching the ball higher and closer to the target.

Review Ratings
Forgiveness
5/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 5 of 5 stars. The entire clubface feels like the sweet spot of the club at impact. With TaylorMade's Twist Face technology, the clubface is designed with angles so that shots hit on the toe and heel come off the club closer to the intended target line. For all skill levels, this is one of the most forgiving drivers available.
Feel
5/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 5 of 5 stars. For any player who likes to waggle the driver at setup to get a feel for the club before making a backswing, this driver is well balanced and feels great in the hands. At impact, the red carbon clubface acts like a trampoline for high ball speeds and provides the opportunity to maximize distance.
Workability
4/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 4 of 5 stars. For the average player or high handicapper, this driver provides the extra distance and forgiveness needed to keep the ball in play and on line. Top players will be able to work the ball left and right; however, there are more workable drivers available if workability is a top priority. This driver is engineered for distance and consistency.
Distance
5/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 5 of 5 stars. This driver is long off the tee even when the ball is struck off center. For anyone looking to increase ball speeds and overall length, the Stealth HD is one of the top options. Expect driving distance to go up and average approach shot distance into the greens to shrink.
Sound
5/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 5 of 5 stars. The Stealth HD is far from quiet and produces a loud smack when contact is made. For anyone who prefers sound effects, this driver is pleasing to the ear and easy to settle into. Though there is extreme forgiveness across the clubface, the difference when hit in the dead center is audible.
FAQs
What do you love about this product?
Jacob Wetzel I love the max distance combined with extreme forgiveness offered by the Stealth HD Driver from TaylorMade. Mishits travel farther and finish closer to the target line.
The new red clubface is hot and ball speeds are electric. To improve overall driving, the Stealth HD assists all skill levels.
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Jacob Wetzel The number 2 at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island is a long par 5 that requires a monster tee shot to carry a waste area that is outlined by a tall embankment to reach the fairway. Brooks Koepka came up short of the embankment and made 7 in the final round of the PGA in 2021, in which he finished runner-up to Phil Mickelson.
The Stealth HD provided me with my best drive on this hole to date that not only carried the embankment on the left side but also set me up for a second shot at the green that I had previously thought unreachable. This is one of the longest drivers overall that I have ever hit.
Why did you choose this product?
Jacob Wetzel Like all of the Stealth drivers from TaylorMade, I tested out this driver because of Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler in the "Far-giveness" commercial. If the best players in the world trust it to hit the ball long and straight, it must be worth a try.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Jacob Wetzel The Stealth HD Driver from TaylorMade is a top-tier driver similar in price to other high-performing drivers in its class like the Callaway Paradym or Titleist TSR2. When it comes to driver technology, the Stealth HD is worth every penny for those who want to hit the ball longer and straighter.
