The Curated Take

4.1/5

The Line Tom Wallisch Pro Skis 2024 are perfect for avid terrain park riders, from those just getting into park skiing to competition-level skiers. They stand out for their lightness compared to other park skis, enhancing maneuverability and accelerating the learning curve. These skis are buttery and playful, ideal for jumps and freestyle skiing. However, they have limited durability and are not designed for powder conditions, with a narrower profile that doesn't provide the best flotation in deep snow. Overall, these skis offer great value for park enthusiasts seeking a light, versatile ski that performs well across the mountain.

Review Ratings

Turn Ease

5/5
West Anderson gave 5 of 5 stars. This ski turns with ease, and when skiing park, easier turns are always a plus. I skied these many times in Midwest parks, and there are often many features in a Midwest park. Being able to easily turn the ski to get in the right position for a rail is essential. It's way easier to link tricks together when one gets set up quickly and effectively to hit the feature.

Playfulness

5/5
West Anderson gave 5 of 5 stars. The skis are insanely light compared to other skis on the market. I have ridden all sorts of park skis, and these are easily one of the lightest I've come across. The ability to spin and stop with ease makes these a top choice for park skis. The light swing-weight has allowed me to stomp many tricks I would otherwise not be able to land.

Durability

3/5
West Anderson gave 3 of 5 stars. I've personally ruined several pairs of these skis from different seasons. The line TW Pro is many things, but durable is not one of them. Granted, I've abused these skis in the park, so breakage is expected to happen. However, I abuse every ski I ride in the park, and I always want them to hold up for at least half a season.

High Speed Stability

4/5
West Anderson gave 4 of 5 stars. I've taken this ski at speeds of 50+ mph plenty of times. While it is not always the smoothest ride, they can definitely keep their composure. Having the ability to hit jumps is a key component of these skis. They can handle any in-run thrown at them, whether it's a 15ft or 60ft jump.

Carving

4/5
West Anderson gave 4 of 5 stars. While these are in no way, shape, or form a carving ski, they hold up pretty well when carving. Carving at a medium-fast speed is where these skis will do the best. The twin-tip ability allows for carving forward or switch. I like doing switch carves into my jump tricks, and these skis perform well in that aspect.

Versatility

5/5
West Anderson gave 5 of 5 stars. These skis can tackle groomed terrain, chop, and even light snow. I've ridden these skis and older versions on various parts off the mountain, and they really thrive on all of it. The ability to turn, play. and slash through all of the different surfaces is really no problem when riding the Line TW Pro.

Flotation

3/5
West Anderson gave 3 of 5 stars. This ski has a narrower profile compared to the average park ski in this day and age. That being said, they can float and play in light amounts of snow. However, when I've had these skis out on pow days, I seem to sink way easier than my friends who are riding 96+mm skis. If one is looking for a powder ski, this is not it.

FAQs

What was your favorite moment with this gear?

West Anderson My favorite moment was initially popping into the skis and feeling how light they were compared to my other skis. For the first 10 minutes riding on the TW pros, I felt like I had superpowers on rails.

Why did you choose this product?

West Anderson I chose this product as a result of past experiences with the skis. I had ridden older versions of the ski, and I wanted to see if they still had that same playful design. Luckily, the skis were almost identical to previous pairs.
