They are playful yet sturdy, making them suitable for both male and female chargers. The skis are characterized by their stiffer flex, offering powerful performance on groomers, bumps, and in backcountry conditions. Their construction includes a wood core, metal layers, and carbon, providing durability and high-speed stability. While they may feel stiffer compared to earlier models, these skis are well suited for skiers who desire a strong, responsive ski that excels in a variety of terrain and conditions.

Expert Reviews of the Nordica Enforcer 88 Skis

Cassia Hameline As an advanced female skier who previously rode the Nordica Santa Anas, I made the switch to the enforcers and couldn’t be happier! They’re a stiffer ski that can hold their own on groomers, bumps, through trees, off cliffs, and in the backcountry. These are my hybrid ski between on- and off-piste, and they’re extremely versatile while maintaining their power in all terrain. Don’t be intimidated by the “male” make; these are a rad ski for all skiers!

Turn Ease

5/5
Cassia Hameline gave 5 of 5 stars. With a mid-range turn radius, the Enforcers offer a great option for someone looking to have options. Need to make some speedy movements in the trees? Sure thing. Want to open it up on the groomers and ride wide and smooth? Not a problem here. Whatever it is, the Enforcer can handle it.

Playfulness

5/5
Cassia Hameline gave 5 of 5 stars. With a full wood core, 2 TI metal layers, and carbon glass built into this ski, I love the playfulness of the Enforcer. It's a really versatile ski capable of carrying me fast and smooth on groomers, providing a surfy feel in softer snow, and letting me hit the bumps because of its slight rocker in the tip and tail. I'm ready to pop, punch, and play all day.

Durability

5/5
Cassia Hameline gave 5 of 5 stars. Because the Enforcer boasts two sheets of metal and carbon stringers throughout, the ski is meant to dampen vibrations so one can ride fast without much chatter. I feel confident at higher speeds and am certain these skis will last me a while because of their sturdy build.

High Speed Stability

5/5
Cassia Hameline gave 5 of 5 stars. Forget about shakiness at higher speeds on groomers! The Enforcer's construction of wood, metal, and carbon offers a dampening effect that makes the ride fast and smooth without any chatter. I love my tree and bump runs just as much as the next gal, but there's something to be said about opening up on a corduroy groomer, and man, these skis make it fun!

Versatility

5/5
Cassia Hameline gave 5 of 5 stars. With less plastic in the tip and a longer length of wood core, the Enforcer is lighter and more playful than other skis, so it's easy to maneuver in all types of terrain. Whether I'm on trail or off, flying through the trees, absorbing bumps, opening it up with harder, faster turns, or just taking it easy on a chill afternoon, the Enforcer's got me covered.

Flotation

4/5
Cassia Hameline gave 4 of 5 stars. With an 88mm width underfoot, this ski isn't made to float through the heaviest of pow days. For a powder-specific ski, I'd suggest looking for something a bit thicker, but the Enforcer 88 will totally get through mid-pow days! I've used this after a fresh dusting and felt very confident.

FAQs

What do you love about this product?

Cassia Hameline While the Nordica Enforcer offers a spiffy new topsheet this year, the ski will also satisfy shreddy needs like past versions. Returning structurally the same as last year's model, 2024's Enforcer 88 will still be the go-to ski for all on- and off-piste skiing but with some new graphics that set it apart. With its narrow body, it can rock out on groomers and dash through trees yet still feel stable enough to drive hard and fast because of its two metal sheets. What's not to love here?

What was your favorite moment with this gear?

Cassia Hameline I tested this ski on a whim after trying out some Black Crows that felt a little too stiff and clunky for me. Coming off my then-daily driver (the 93 Santa Anas), I was hoping to fall equally in love with the balance of drive, stability, and playfulness that I knew from my women's-specific ski, and the Enforcer did not disappoint. I knew I was in love when I popped into a steep finger and could make turns quickly and smoothly before jumping into a groomer where I could gain speed without any chatter.

Why did you choose this product?

Cassia Hameline I chose the Enforcer because I loved my female-specific Santa Anas but was hoping for a little bit of a sturdier, more capable ski that could bring me to new heights in my ski adventures.

What is the value for the money versus other options?

Cassia Hameline The Enforcers are a slightly pricey ski, but worth every penny. I would 100% repurchase them.
