Expert Reviews of the Vitamix Immersion Blender
Kylee Hazelgren I already had an Immersion blender, but I received this one from Vitamix as a gift. So, I decided to experiment to see which one performed the best.
One of the features I immediately noticed on the gifted Vitamix Immersion blender was that the cord was long enough that I could reach a further away outlet. Then, the cord wraps up with a small band that secures it in place, making storage much easier. The other Immersion blender I owned had a shorter cord, and I usually had to wrap the cord around the blender itself during storage.
Another feature I noticed was the plastic coating around the bell close to the blade. I thought this was unique, and it took away any worry that I might scratch my cookware or bowls during use. The other Immersion blender was stainless steel around the bell, and I always had to be careful around the edges of my cookware.
Lastly and most importantly, the Vitamix Immersion blender is very powerful and consistent. I love to make vegan ranch using soaked cashews, and in the past, I've used my older Immersion blender for this task. However, the results would lead to some grittiness in my ranch, and I thought I would always have to put up with that. Recently, I made that same ranch with the newer Vitamix immersion blender, and the power led to a smooth consistency for the ranch throughout. It's safe to say the gifted Vitamix Immersion blender will now be my go-to.

Design
5/5
Kylee Hazelgren gave 5 of 5 stars. The handle of this Immersion blender has a grippy texture so that I can maintain a firm grip during use. I can easily identify the different power levels with the lit-up levels. The plastic coating around the bell near the blade makes me confident that I won't scratch or damage whatever bowls or cookware I use.
Power
5/5
Kylee Hazelgren gave 5 of 5 stars. This blender has a 625-watt motor, which is one of the more powerful motors before commercial grade. The different speed levels all deliver great power. The highest level is fast and blends in a matter of seconds. The only downside to this level of power is it can be easy to splatter food, so be ready for some cleanup.
Versatility
5/5
Kylee Hazelgren gave 5 of 5 stars. I used to think Immersion blenders were only good for blending chunky soups. But after experimenting with this blender from Vitamix, I have used this versatile product to create the ideal soups, pesto, mayo, smoothies, hummus, dressings, and tomato sauces. With the five different power levels, I get the ideal texture I'm looking for each time.
