Review Ratings
Release Reliability
5/5
West Anderson gave 5 of 5 stars. Knowing when and where a binding will be released is a must. Skiers want a binding to react to a crash to ensure safety. When crashing, this binding has saved me many times; it responds accordingly when my leg is twisted at any weird angle. Also, this binding has yet to create any problems popping off prematurely for me.
Durability
4/5
West Anderson gave 4 of 5 stars. The binding itself is very durable, but it will probably break after a lot of misuse. I've broken a few pairs from stepping on the binding too hard when popping out. The part that breaks is almost always the brake arms, which support the sides of the heel piece. However, if skiers treat the bindings with care, that metal won't wear out and break as fast.
Versatility
5/5
West Anderson gave 5 of 5 stars. Whether skiers want to ski park, all mountain, or even do some touring, this binding will handle it all. It can endure the brute power it takes to ski park like a champ and will safely amp one's skiing career. Skiers can also fit this binding with a "daymaker" touring setup and conquer the entire mountain.
Power Transfer
5/5
West Anderson gave 5 of 5 stars. Due to the shortened mounting pattern of this binding, skiers can effectively use more of their skis. This pattern will allow them to use the whole flex of the ski and really feel every detail. I've personally used different bindings on the same ski, and this one is easily the most playful.
FAQs
What do you love about this product?
West Anderson I love the rotational heel piece that comes with this binding. It is the only product of its kind on the market. The rotational aspect has saved me many times from injury and ultimately prolonged my skiing career. In conclusion, I would simply trust this binding more than anything else on the market.
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
West Anderson My favorite moment was when it saved me from running into a terrain park feature. I had messed up my landing on a trick and started one of those "long fall" types of crashes. Luckily, my binding came off at the appropriate angle and time, which saved me from running into a different feature.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
West Anderson This is one of the more expensive options for bindings on the market. However, its longevity will make it worth every dollar. With a healthy mix of plastic and metal parts, this binding will provide long-lasting performance for many years.
