In this comparison, we are looking at two skis from K2's Mindbender series: the 108Ti 2022 model and the 90C 2024 model. Both skis are praised for their versatility and performance, but they cater to different types of skiers and conditions. The 108Ti is a solid, fast, and responsive ski, ideal for charging down groomers, big-mountain lines, and soft/variable snow. It's not the best for skiers who prefer a lighter ski or those who stick to groomed runs. On the other hand, the 90C is a forgiving and maneuverable ski, perfect for beginners looking to advance their skills or intermediate riders wanting to explore the whole mountain. It's not the best choice for aggressive skiers or those seeking top speeds or deep powder flotation.

The K2 Mindbender 108Ti Skis 2022 model is a versatile ski that is praised for its solid performance. It features TI Y-beam technology, which does an excellent job of dampening the ski, and its tip and tail profile allows it to be maneuverable in tight spaces. This ski is designed to go fast, so it's best to always be in the front seat to increase its maneuverability and responsiveness.

The 108Ti is ideal for hitting 10+ foot cliffs into soft snow because the TI absorbs the vibrations so your knees don't take it. It's also able to carve really well, although the 99s are considered more of a carving ski. This ski is ideal for charging down groomers, big-mountain lines with added stability from its TI, and soft/variable snow. However, it's not ideal for skiers who prefer a lighter ski, as it requires more effort to maneuver due to its added weight.

The k2 Mindbender 108Tis are a really solid versatile ski. It TI Y-beam technology does a great job of dampening the ski and it's tip and tail profile allows it to be maneuverable in tight spaces. This ski when you point it wants to go fast so its best to always be in the front seat to increase it's maneuverability and responsiveness.

The K2 Mindbender 90C Skis 2024 model is marketed as an intermediate level ski that's light, good on groomers, and easy to ski. It’s wide enough to get off trail a little bit, too. What makes it different from other Mindbenders is that it uses carbon instead of titanal metal to stiffen the ski, making it lighter and easier on the legs.

The 90C is a fun, cool looking, high-quality ski that has a really nice top sheet feel. It's not a super aggressive ski, but it's very confidence-inspiring. It's great on groomers and is quick edge to edge. It's definitely a more groomer-focused ski at 90 underfoot. It's also decent in the trees and fresh snow, but any more snow than a couple of inches and it would sink.

Anyone from an ambitious lower intermediate up to an advanced skier could have a lot of fun on these. If you want a stable, confident yet forgiving, intermediate to advanced ski that’s lighter and not as stiff, this is a great option at a really affordable price.
