The Curated Take
4.3/5
The Burton Mint BOA Snowboard Boots are ideal for beginner to intermediate women riders. They offer excellent comfort and warmth, featuring heat-retaining slipping technology and a lightweight design with an easy-to-use BOA system for a snug, adjustable fit. These boots excel in various conditions with their good grip and waterproofing. However, they're less suited for advanced freeriding due to their softer flex and limited responsiveness. Overall, these boots are ideal for those prioritizing comfort and ease of use, particularly in local slope conditions, but might not be suitable for more aggressive or technical terrains.

Expert Reviews of the Burton Mint BOA Snowboard Boots
Azhar Abdrakhmanova The Burton Mint BOA Snowboard Boots are super light and comfy, too, so I don't end up with sore feet. The BOA system is great; I turn it a couple of times and am ready to go. They fit just how I like it and aren't too tight. The soles have a good grip. They've even got tabs on the toe and heel, so putting them on and removing them is a breeze. They're a bit wider around the calves and shorter in the back, ideal for women riders. They also have this slipping technology made from a foil material that keeps the heat from escaping my body, keeping my feet warm for a longer time. These boots are a solid choice if someone is new to this or in the middle skill-wise. They're on the softer side, though. So, if riders plan to do some intense riding, they might not be the best fit.

Review Ratings
Heel Hold
4/5
Azhar Abdrakhmanova gave 4 of 5 stars. The heel hold on these boots is pretty dope but could be better. I feel locked in, like they hug my feet. Last season, I had a pair with a similar hold, and it made carving down the mountain feel secure. No heel lift means better control on turns and landings.
Weight
5/5
Azhar Abdrakhmanova gave 5 of 5 stars. These boots are on the lighter side, which is clutch for long days on the mountain. Lighter boots mean less fatigue. One day, I remember being out from open to close, and my legs thanked me for having a lightweight setup. I almost didn't feel them at all.
Waterproofing
5/5
Azhar Abdrakhmanova gave 5 of 5 stars. Top-notch waterproofing is key. I don't want wet feet halfway through the day. I've had boots that let in moisture, and it's a total buzzkill. These keep my feet dry, which is very essential for comfort and warmth. I don't have any trouble with them in puddles or heavy snow. They're good.
Grip
4/5
Azhar Abdrakhmanova gave 4 of 5 stars. There is a solid grip on these boots. Whether hiking up to a backcountry spot or just walking to grab a hot chocolate, a good grip keeps one upright. I recall a moment with other boots that had me slipping more than a cartoon character; I can forget that I can slip on ice with these boots.
Durability
4/5
Azhar Abdrakhmanova gave 4 of 5 stars. They've got good durability, but like all gear, they show wear over time. After a full season, my boots usually have some battle scars, especially around high-friction areas. These seem like they can handle the typical shredder's lifestyle. Nothing special. They will last a couple of seasons, but after that, consider buying another pair.
Responsiveness
3/5
Azhar Abdrakhmanova gave 3 of 5 stars. These boots are okay at following my moves but are not the best. I've ridden boots that feel like they're mind-controlling my board, responding to the slightest shifts. But these lack something. For doing super quick tricks, these boots might not be fast enough. But they work fine if someone rides down hills and has fun.
Ease of Use
5/5
Azhar Abdrakhmanova gave 5 of 5 stars. The Mint boots are very easy to put on and tighten. They have a BOA system that lets me make the boots fit just right, really fast. It's easier than tying my shoes, especially when my fingers are cold. I remember when I was on a big hill and had to tighten my boots; it was so easy and quick.
Comfort
5/5
Azhar Abdrakhmanova gave 5 of 5 stars. Comfort is where these boots shine. Sure, they need a bit of breaking in, but once you do, it's like they're molded to your feet. Last year, I had a pair that gave me blisters for days. Not fun. BOA "laces" don't strangle my feet and the whole boot feels nice.
Shock Absorption
4/5
Azhar Abdrakhmanova gave 4 of 5 stars. The Burton Mint BOA boots are great at stopping my feet from hurting when I land after jumping or riding over bumpy snow. They're like cushy sneakers that make it so I don't feel the bumps often. My feet felt way better, even after doing lots of jumps and tricks. These boots are great because they help keep my feet comfy and prevent me from falling.
FAQs
What do you love about this product?
Azhar Abdrakhmanova I love the grip. I can walk on icy patches without slipping, which is terrific. They fit really well, too, especially since they're designed for women. Every time I put them on, I know it will be a good day on the mountain.
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Azhar Abdrakhmanova At this open-air bar on a super icy day, everyone slipped and couldn't reach it to get some hot coffee. But that wasn't the case for me. I walked on the ice easily in my Burton Mint BOA boots. So, I started delivering hot coffee to everyone who was stuck. It was fun, and everyone was happy. Cute memory.
Why did you choose this product?
Azhar Abdrakhmanova They're popular and usually on sale, so I wanted to try them.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Azhar Abdrakhmanova Burton Mint has a BOA system to make them fit just right, and they keep my feet super warm. They're also made just for women, so they fit well. Salomon Pearl BOA and Ride Sage boots also have easy knobs, but they don't keep my feet as warm as the Mint BOA. The Ride Sage is good, but it's not made just for women. The Mint BOA costs a little more, but it's worth it because it's warm, comfy, and fits women well.
