The board's design ensures snappy transitions and floats in powder, while its bamboo, aspen, and paulownia core offers a responsive ride. Though initially stiff, it softens with use. Playfulness
5/5
Brayden Randolph gave 5 of 5 stars. The board is just fun. Plain and simple. I have a good time riding this rig of a board. It comes with a medium to stiff flex rated at a 7/10. The stiffness allows me to charge through chatter confidently but is just soft enough to let me throw out some butters and nice squiggly turns, too.

Brayden Randolph gave 4 of 5 stars. I'm no professional or anything, but I've been able to challenge this snowboard and put it up to the test. I've ridden it hard and have trusted it to hold while jumping off cliffs into fresh, sending kickers in the park, and even hitting rails and features in the terrain park. The board performs. It holds strong and has continued to hold strong, but it softens up the harder I push it. I can vouch for it softening as it breaks in. After a full season or two of riding it, riders will begin to notice it softening, but there is nothing to be concerned about. It integrates carbon fiber stringers that run the length of the board to create added strength and snappiness to the board. Some might say it's just a unit of a snowboard.
Carving
4/5
Brayden Randolph gave 4 of 5 stars. The predictable edge control and the turning responsiveness make this a board that brings out confidence. I can dig deep into a turn without fearing an edge slipping or washing out. This board is right for me because I can hold a solid edge while making a turn centered on the board, but I can hold an edge off my back foot while I lay into a snappy, deep turn. The core is made of bamboo, aspen, and paulownia, which offers a strong and lightweight material that provides a torsional flex (essentially a twisting motion) through the board that helps create a unique turning motion.
High Speed Stability
4/5
Brayden Randolph gave 4 of 5 stars. We've all had those days when we feel like we need an adrenaline kick. I know I have. Some days, I want to open up the burners and log some speed. I've given it a couple of honest attempts, hoping to go fast enough to draw tears out of my eyes through my goggles. It's a nearly impossible feat. I've never doubted how comfortable I feel on this board; comfort stems from stability. There are a few different factors that draw into how stable a board feels—size, shape, weight, and stiffness. It's fabricated with carbon fiber stingers that help reduce noise through chattery snow and enhance the dampening of the nose and tail.
Versatility
5/5
Brayden Randolph gave 5 of 5 stars. This board is a full quiver condensed into one snowboard. Brighton Resort is my home mountain, providing an impressive terrain variety. I've been endlessly chasing completing my quiver with a rotation of park, powder, and all-terrain boards. It took me a long time and many nights of rotating my bindings and mounting them on various boards to realize that I'm tired of it. I just want to grab a board and go. Thus came the discovery of the Broadcast. The board can do it all. It's excellent for sniffing out fresh pow turns, tackling all of the side hits in front of it, and can even dabble in the park a bit.
Turn Ease
4/5
Brayden Randolph gave 4 of 5 stars. The Broadcast has a way of making snowboarding feel effortless. With a very subtle and slim waste design, getting from edge to edge seems quick. The camber/rocker profile and sidecut are not overly aggressive, and the board feels maneuverable everywhere around the mountain. It's a board for everyone. If riders want to ease turn initiation further, sizing down would be fine. I'm about 5'9" and 145lbs, and I've ridden the 159cm and the 156cm. I gained more stability from the 159, though a bit more challenging to control, while the 156 provided much more response.
Flotation
4/5
Brayden Randolph gave 4 of 5 stars. In deeper snow, it just feels surfy. It's so smooth in powder. The rocker and camber profile on the tips and tail provide that glide and swivel feeling we all dream of having in deep snow. The design comes with a 3/4" setback on its inserts, creating a slightly larger nose than the tail, and also comes with a 3° tapered shape, which helps transition out of a turn with precision and ease.
