In the world of women's skis, the Völkl Blaze 94 W and the Atomic Maven 93 C are two standout options for the 2023 season. Both skis are designed for intermediate to advanced skiers and offer a versatile all-mountain experience. The Blaze 94 W is a lightweight, responsive ski that's perfect for skiers who love to turn on a dime in any terrain. The Atomic Maven 93 C, on the other hand, is a stable, easy-to-maneuver ski that performs well in all conditions. While both skis have their strengths, the Blaze 94 W stands out for its sporty, fun ride, and the Maven 93 C impresses with its stability and ease of use.

The Völkl Blaze 94 W Skis are a fantastic choice for female skiers who crave versatility and responsiveness. These skis are lightweight, making them perfect for all-mountain use. They're designed for intermediate skiers who are looking to progress into advanced skiing levels.

The Blaze 94 W's sporty design offers an incredibly fun and responsive turning experience that requires little effort. The 0.3mm thick layer of titanal across the binding platform creates an impressively direct power transfer from skier movement to ski action. The 3D Radius Sidecut and Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore enhance liveliness and maneuverability for any turn shape.

Now in its third year, the Blaze continues to impress. It's lighter, quicker, and sportier than some of Volkl's more piste-oriented skis. The Blaze is a freeride machine that loves to get off into trees, side hits, moguls, and light powder. But don't let that fool you, the Blaze uses Vokl's 3D radius sidecut, so you can lay big arcs or quick slalom turns. It's a super fun ski that's perfect for a variety of riding styles.

The Volkl Blaze's are a great fit for female skiers who love to turn on a dime in any terrain. With a short turn radius goal, these sporty skis offer an incredibly fun and responsive turning experience that requires little effort.

The Atomic Maven 93 C Skis are a great fit for intermediate to advanced women skiers who want a versatile all-mountain ski. With a width of 93mm, these skis are ideal for higher-snow areas and perform well in all conditions. They are easy to maneuver, stable at high speeds, and handle well in chop and moguls.

The Maven 93 C Skis utilize Atomic's Omatic Core Construction, a mixture of titanium and fiberglass, which allows for this ski to be extra snappy and strong while powering through chundery hard pack. The similar shape of rocker/camber/rocker construction allows for easy turn initiation and the 93 width will have you on your edge ripping a sick turn in a split second!

These skis are lightweight but still very capable on hardpack. They love to jump off into back bowls, moguls, trees, and side-hits. But don't let the low swing weight fool you, the Poplar core combined with triaxial fiberglass and carbon weave gives this great stability.

I tested the Atomic Maven 93 C for the first time this season, and I was seriously impressed! This ski was stable in chop and at high speeds on groomers. It was exceptionally easy to turn in moguls as well.
