In the world of snowboarding, the Never Summer Snowtrooper and the GNU Riders Choice are two top-tier boards that have made a name for themselves. Both boards are designed for all-mountain riding, with a focus on versatility and performance. The Snowtrooper is praised for its flexibility, ease of turn initiation, and durability, making it a great choice for beginner to intermediate riders. On the other hand, the Riders Choice is known for its speed, edge hold, and ability to perform well in all types of conditions, making it a favorite among intermediate and advanced riders. While both boards have their strengths, the Snowtrooper is more beginner-friendly, while the Riders Choice is more suited for advanced riders. However, both boards are versatile enough to handle a variety of terrains and conditions, making them excellent choices for any rider looking for a do-it-all board.

The Never Summer Snowtrooper Snowboard is a versatile all-mountain board that is perfect for intermediate to advanced riders. Its Original Rocker Camber Profile provides a playful feel while still allowing for deep carving. With a medium flex rating and fully-wrapped metal edges, this board is durable and can handle any terrain. It's the Swiss Army Knife of snowboards, making it a great fit for any riding style.

The Snowtrooper is also known for its flexibility and ease of turn initiation, making it a great board for teaching and demonstrating techniques to new riders. It's slightly directional, which is super nice for powder days, and it rides switch pretty great when you have it set up right. This board is also great for doing butters due to its flexibility.

However, the Snowtrooper is not without its drawbacks. It's not super great for edge hold when carving, and it might not be wide enough for riders with big feet. Also, it's not stiff enough for advanced riders who want more performance out of their boards.

This board is easily the most versatile board on the market. It would be great and best suited for someone with a larger budget but can only have one board. I bought this board as my first brand new board, and I am so glad I did. I can float through waist-deep powder while still being able to hit some of the best park lines.

The GNU Riders Choice Snowboard is a fantastic example of a board that can do it all. The RC is truly an all-mountain, one-board quiver. The RC is meant for intermediate and advanced riders who do not want to feel restricted to one specific resort area.

The Riders Choice is very fast, and riders can definitely feel the difference between the sintered base and the added speed. It has a fantastic edge hold, thanks to the Magne-traction on this board. It can execute smooth, seamless carves, and the asymmetrical share definitely helps out with buttery heelside carves and sharp toeside carves.

However, the flex of this board is not ideal for moguls, as it bends around the bumps too much to navigate them easily. Also, it may not be the best choice for backcountry riding, as a stiffer, directional board would be better suited for very deep powder.

The 2023 Riders Choice C2 is truly a one-board quiver. It rips on groomers and is playful enough to enjoy the park yet sturdy enough to enjoy resort powder days. This is a fantastic all-mountain board for those riders looking for one board to handle anything the mountain will throw their way.
