In the world of snow sports, safety is paramount, and the right helmet can make all the difference. Today, we're comparing two top-tier helmets from Giro: the Neo MIPS and the Jackson MIPS. Both helmets are packed with features designed to keep you safe and comfortable on the slopes. The Neo MIPS stands out for its lightweight design and adjustable venting, while the Jackson MIPS impresses with its sleek design and unique venting system. Both helmets feature MIPS technology for added protection. However, the Neo MIPS might be better suited for those who value adjustability, while the Jackson MIPS could be a better fit for those who prefer a minimalist design.

The Giro Neo MIPS Helmet is a top seller, and for good reason. This helmet is designed with the rider's comfort and safety in mind. It features a lightweight IN-MOLD™ CONSTRUCTION and MIPS technology, which offers superior protection. The helmet's In Form™ Fit System ensures a comfortable and secure fit, while the Thermostat Control™ adjustable venting allows for temperature regulation on the go.

The Neo MIPS Helmet is incredibly lightweight, comparable to Smith helmets, even without their choroid system. This makes it a great choice for riders who value a lightweight helmet that doesn't compromise on durability. The adjustable venting is another standout feature. Unlike some other brands or models, the Neo MIPS Helmet allows you to adjust the vents to accommodate the temperature, making it a versatile choice for various weather conditions.

This is a great helmet. MIPS system for added protection, adjustable vents for control on how much or how little you cool based off conditions, and adjustable size to dial in the fit. This is one of the best selling helmets out there.

The Giro Jackson MIPS Helmet is another excellent choice for riders. This helmet is known for its lightweight design and unique venting system. The Jackson MIPS Helmet doesn't use a choroid system like Smith helmets, but it still manages to be incredibly lightweight while maintaining durability.

The helmet features fixed vents in the front and back, which means you won't be able to adjust the vents on the slopes. However, this minimalist design might be a good fit for riders who don't need or want the ability to adjust their venting. Another unique feature of the Jackson MIPS Helmet is the ability to adjust the tilt, which can help riders fit their goggles to their face more comfortably.

It's been my favorite helmet 4 years in a row. Looks GREAT! Extremely comfortable with boa adjustment for a snug fit. Compatible with drop-in speakers, if that’s your thing. Can’t beat MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) technology for concussion prevention. Super warm, maybe to a fault, while my head has never been cold in it, it has been sweaty on warmer days. It seamlessly fits with every pair of goggles I’ve tried, from Anon to Oakley to Giro to Smith.
