In the world of all-mountain skis, two names stand out: the Nordica Enforcer 100 and the Atomic Bent 100. Both skis are designed for the 2024 season and are highly regarded for their performance across a variety of terrains and conditions. The Nordica Enforcer 100 is praised for its versatility, stability, and carving capabilities. It's a ski that can handle groomers, moguls, and powder with ease, making it a great choice for advanced skiers who want a ski that can do it all. On the other hand, the Atomic Bent 100 is known for its playful nature, excellent float in powder, and freestyle capabilities. It's a ski that's perfect for those who love to explore the mountain, hit natural features, and engage in freestyle skiing. Both skis have their strengths and are loved by many, but depending on your skiing style and preferences, one may be a better fit for you than the other.

The Nordica Enforcer 100 is a popular all-mountain ski that has been getting a lot of attention in recent years. It's the flagship of Nordica's all-mountain skis and is known for being intuitive and easy to ski. The Enforcer 100 is a versatile ski that performs well on groomers and in powder. It's a bit stiffer underfoot with a bit of softness in the tips, which helps with turn initiation. However, it may not be as quick edge to edge in deep snow.

The shape of the Enforcer 100 is very directional, with the tails fighting you if you try to slash. They want to stay on edge and carve, making them very stable. The ski has a lot of camber, a pretty flat tail, and a fair amount of rocker in the tip for easier turn initiation. It also has a wood core and two layers of metal sandwiched over it, but the metal is fairly thin, so the ski isn't overly stiff or demanding.

The Enforcer 100 is not a freestyle ski and is not recommended for skiing switch or taking into the park. However, it performs well in powder and uneven terrain, and it's surprisingly easy to pivot around, making it fun in the trees and moguls. It's recommended for all-mountain skiers who ski groomers, moguls, and trees, and it's suitable for anyone from an advancing beginner to an advanced expert.

I hadn't personally skied the Enforcer 100 before today. I usually ski a more playful twin tip ski, and I was really surprised at how good of a time I had on the Enforcer 100. I was impressed at how it did on the groomers. It doesn't quite go as quickly edge to edge as the Enforcer 94 or some of the lower 90s and 80s waist width skis, but it's truly a versatile all mountain ski.

The Atomic Bent 100 is a versatile all-mountain ski that's designed to excel in soft snow and off-piste conditions while still providing solid performance on groomed runs. Developed in collaboration with professional skier Chris Benchetler, these skis offer a playful and freestyle-oriented experience.

With a waist width of 100mm, the Bent 100's provide decent floatation in powder and soft snow. Their rockered tip and tail enhance their ability to maneuver and pivot while in deep snow and make them easy to initiate turns. While they are not specifically designed for carving on groomed runs, they still offer decent edge hold and stability when skiing on firmer snow conditions.

The construction of the Bent 100's features Atomic's HRZN Tech, which incorporates a horizontal rocker in the tip to provide additional floatation and maneuverability. This technology helps the skis plane on top of powder and enhances their performance in soft and variable snow conditions.

The Bent 100's have a playful and responsive feel, making them ideal for skiers who enjoy exploring the mountain, hitting natural features, and engaging in freestyle skiing. They are designed to handle jumps, spins, and tricks, providing a forgiving platform for aerial maneuvers.

While the Bent Chetler 100 skis excel in soft snow and off-piste conditions, they may not offer the same level of stability and edge hold as more traditional all-mountain skis on hardpacked or icy terrain. If your primary focus is carving on groomed runs, there may be other options better suited to those conditions.

I woke up in the morning, saw the snow report, and got really fired up that I’d have some power skis to test in the powder. My overall impression was whoa, it was sweet in powder. It is a super fun, easy turning ski. You don't necessarily need to lay it on edge. You can kind of just like weasel your way around the mountain. These things checked all the boxes for me. I had an absolute blast.
