Salomon Stance W 84 Skis · Women's · 2024 summary

The Salomon Stance W 84 Skis are a versatile and approachable ski that is perfect for all-mountain cruising. With a progressive sidecut and a lively karuba/poplar core, these skis are agile and reliable. They offer secure edge hold and instant turn engagement, making them great for carving on groomed slopes. The all-new Titanal and carbon construction provides excellent grip on the snow. Whether you're cruising on the east coast or ripping it up out west, these skis are approachable and fun to ride.

The Stance 84 got a major upgrade from last year! It's been lightened up to make it more approachable, but with the same tight sidecut and shape that's perfect for all mountain cruising on the east, but also ripping groomed stuff out West! Because of that, it no longer needs to go 100% all the time, and is a perfectly approachable ski for someone getting back into the sport, trying to take things to the next level, or who just wants to have fun and cruise on the mountains!

The Blizzard Black Pearl 88 Skis are a popular choice for women skiers looking to advance their skills. They are easy to turn, and they have a strong grip on groomers. This ski truly excels in frontside conditions. At 88mm underfoot, there is something to be desired for off-piste skiing. The Black Pearl is a great match for an intermediate to advanced woman. Experts will find this ski a bit too easy to drive, and it lacks the strong responsiveness someone of this ability level would expect. Overall, this ski is a good choice for a Midwest or East Coast skier, or for someone out West who wants to stay on blue/black groomers.

The Black Pearl 88's are the best women’s ski on the market for a reason, and I can absolutely see why this ski is owned and beloved by so many women. It just carved so well, and there's just so much you can do on this ski.
