The Curated Take
4.3/5
The Rossignol Sender 104 Ti Open Skis are ideal for intermediate skiers, offering a blend of accessibility and performance across varied terrains. Its medium-stiff construction, influenced by the Nordica Enforcer line, ensures versatility and playfulness. The metal and wood build offers durability and stability, excellent for groomers, bumps, trees, and soft snow. Its modern shape and rocker design provide great flotation and ease in carving, making it a great all-around ski for those seeking a balance between strength and flexibility without being overly stiff. Suitable for everyday use on the mountain, it caters to a wide range of skiing styles.

Expert Reviews of the Rossignol Sender 104 Ti Open Skis
Bryant Leech This ski has a modern shape that is copied (or maybe just heavily influenced) from the Enforcer line from Nordica. With the Enforcer being one of the best-selling skis for what feels like decades, I think more people should be on the Sender 104 Ti, particularly intermediate skiers, because the Enforcer is too stiff. The Sender 104 Ti is really accessible with good shape and more than enough strength underfoot to be capable in any scenario. I feel this ski should be all over the place and should really be one of the best-selling skis on the market for the average skier who wants an accessible, fun, high-performing, and capable ski for every day.

Review Ratings
Turn Ease
4/5
Bryant Leech gave 4 of 5 stars. The 104 does a great job of holding a carving edge and being nimble enough for bumps. This is one of the more accessible skis to utilize metal I have been on. The Sender has a great combination of being damp with the metal but not being so stiff they don't bend. Overall, they hold a great edge but aren't a chore to work around the mountain.
Playfulness
4/5
Bryant Leech gave 4 of 5 stars. If someone is looking at a ski with metal, "playful" likely isn't at the top of their list of priorities. This one isn't too bad in the playfulness category, though. It feels rather lively and fun out on the mountain. While it doesn't have a twin tip or anything good for the terrain park, its lack of crazy stiffness makes it a nice, playful option.
Durability
5/5
Bryant Leech gave 5 of 5 stars. I can't see any reason this ski would not hold up like Rossi's always have. They make a quality product. And with metal and wood, this is an excellent construction for years of enjoyment. I see no reason to worry about this ski falling apart anytime soon.
High Speed Stability
4/5
Bryant Leech gave 4 of 5 stars. If skiers are looking to join a speed competition sometime soon, there might be better skis, but this ski will deliver for the average to above-average speed demon. The metal gives me great confidence in flying down slopes at pretty much any speed and feeling comfortable with it. Some very heavy, advanced skiers might be able to overpower it, but this is a stable platform.
Carving
4/5
Bryant Leech gave 4 of 5 stars. Metal always helps with carving ability, and this ski certainly doesn't buck that trend. This ski is stable at speed, and I can easily do many different turn shapes with it. Any 104mm underfoot ski will be limited in its ability to carve in that it will demand softer groomers, but if that's what someone routinely gets, they could consider this for a one-ski quiver. I think this would be an excellent soft snow ski for firmer snow environments.
Versatility
5/5
Bryant Leech gave 5 of 5 stars. No ski 104mm underfoot is going to be confidence-inspiring in icy conditions, period. This ski does great all over the mountain, though, if skiers are looking for something that can really be a versatile tool for everywhere. It has enough flex to bend into moguls but enough strength to lay an arching carve down. It's really a great, well-balanced tool for everything.
FAQs
What do you love about this product?
Bryant Leech This ski is really smooth across a wide variety of terrain. It can do a lot of things well and provides a nice platform for skiers who want a good blend of characteristics. It's wide enough underfoot to allow for flotation in powder, and the rocker in the tip helps so I don't get bogged down by chopped-up snow. It's a weapon on the mountain without being an overpowering plank.
Why did you choose this product?
Bryant Leech I have been interested in this ski for a long time. Ever since someone rode up to me and said, "This is my favorite ski of all time," I had to get on it. I understand his enthusiasm now. This ski is great, balanced, and really happy in a ton of different conditions. It's a highly underrated ski that I think a lot more people would get along with.
