In the world of women's skis, the Line Pandora 104 and the Black Crows Atris Birdie are two top contenders for 2023. Both skis are designed for advanced to expert skiers and offer a versatile, all-mountain experience. The Line Pandora 104 is praised for its lightweight design and versatility, making it a great choice for those who want a ski that can handle a variety of conditions. On the other hand, the Black Crows Atris Birdie is known for its off-piste performance and is a favorite among those who love to explore beyond the groomed runs. While both skis have their strengths, the choice between the two ultimately comes down to personal preference and skiing style.

The Line Pandora 104 Skis are a versatile and lightweight option for intermediate to advanced skiers. With a 104 waist and a lightweight design, these skis are built for both on and off-piste adventures. The Pandora 104 features Magic Finger Carbon Filaments™ technology, which offers a stable ride and can handle any condition on the mountain. Whether you're carving on groomers, ripping through slush, or floating through powder, the Pandora 104 is your go-to one ski quiver.

The Pandora 104 is not just a hard-charging ski; it's designed to be a fun and lively ride. Its lightweight attitude makes it highly maneuverable in tight spots, but still provides a damp and stable ride. This ski is particularly ideal for a smaller skier who wants a wider underfoot ski that’s still light and easy to get on edge. However, it's worth noting that the Pandora 104 can struggle in heavy wet powder and its base is somewhat soft, which can get scraped easily by rocks.

This ski is my personal go-to on untested terrain and in untested conditions. The Line Pandoras provide both reliable and precise performance. This is my go-to ski for touring with its top built for plowing through powder, 104 waist, and its lightweight design, making it easy to take uphill.

The Black Crows Atris Birdie Skis are designed for confident and advanced/expert skiers looking for the best off-piste experience. With a 105 mm waist and a poplar core, the Atris is designed to shine in soft snow and powder. But Black Crows redesigned the ski for 2023, shortening the amount of rocker and increasing the camber of the ski; in effect, they left the Atris' commanding performance in powder intact, but made it more versatile as an all-around ski, improving its edge grip on groomed runs and its stability at high speeds.

The Atris Birdie is a super fun ski that offers a powder ski experience that is still easy to manage in more technical terrain. It's playful in trees and bumps and has massive shovels for tips to allow you to float in deep powder. However, it's worth noting that the Atris Birdie may be too damp for some, and its lack of metal in construction makes it a softer ski.

When it comes to off-piste adventures, the Black Crows is one of the best experiences one can purchase. That being said, this ski is not for the faint of heart, and one can get performances of similar awesomeness from more budget-friendly competitors.
