In the world of snowboarding, the Never Summer Snowtrooper and the Burton Cartographer are two boards that have made a name for themselves. Both boards are designed for all-mountain riding, with a focus on versatility and performance. The Snowtrooper is a great choice for riders who want a board that can handle a variety of conditions, from powder to park. It's a flexible, easy-to-ride board that's perfect for beginners and intermediate riders. The Cartographer, on the other hand, is a more aggressive board that's perfect for advanced riders who want to tackle steeper terrain and deep powder. It's a playful board that still has the power and response to rip. In the end, the choice between the two will depend on your riding style and skill level.

The Never Summer Snowtrooper Snowboard is a versatile all-mountain board that's perfect for riders who want a do-it-all board. It's slightly directional, which makes it great for powder days, and it rides switch pretty well when set up correctly. The board is flexible, making it great for doing butters and demonstrating techniques to new riders. It's also a great choice for beginner to intermediate riders who are looking for a board that can handle a variety of conditions. However, it's not the best choice for advanced riders who want a stiffer board for more performance. The Snowtrooper is also not the best for carving due to its edge hold. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Snowtrooper is a great board for riders who want a versatile, easy-to-ride board that can handle a variety of conditions.

This board is easily the most versatile board on the market. It would be great and best suited for someone with a larger budget but can only have one board. I can float through waist-deep powder while still being able to hit some of the best park lines.

The Burton Cartographer Snowboard is a playful all-mountain board that's perfect for intermediate to advanced riders. It's designed with a directional shape and a tapered nose, which makes it great for easy turning and endless float in powder. The medium flex of the board provides more pop in the tail and easy control in the nose, making it a great choice for riders who want a board that can handle speed and carving, but still has a playful side. The durable sintered base allows for fast speeds and can handle rough terrain. However, the Cartographer may not be the best choice for beginner riders or those who frequent the park. Despite this, the Cartographer is a versatile and high-performing board that's perfect for riders who love to explore the entire mountain and hit a mix of terrain.

The Burton Cartographer is a great, fun board! The extended tail and very short tail enable the nose to absolutely float like a dream in deep powder. I truly was impressed by the performance of what some would call "a budget" board. I have no regrets purchasing the Burton Cartographer!!
