In the world of skiing, the K2 Mindbender 99Ti and the Atomic Bent 100 are two top contenders for the title of the ultimate all-mountain ski. Both skis are designed for advanced skiers who crave versatility and performance in a variety of conditions. The K2 Mindbender 99Ti excels at speed and in mixed conditions, offering a great suspension element that inspires confidence. However, it may feel a bit stiff and underwhelming at slower speeds. On the other hand, the Atomic Bent 100 is a playful, freestyle-oriented ski that shines in soft snow and off-piste conditions, but may not offer the same level of stability on hardpacked or icy terrain. Both skis are excellent choices, but the best one for you will depend on your skiing style and preferences.

The K2 Mindbender 99Ti Skis are a force to be reckoned with on the mountain. These skis are designed to handle a variety of conditions with ease, making them a great choice for skiers who want a versatile and agile ski that excels at speed and in mixed conditions. The Y-Beam construction of the ski ensures maneuverability underfoot while providing stability and responsiveness. This makes the Mindbender 99Ti a reliable and high-performing option for those looking for a daily usable ski.

The Mindbender 99Ti is also a great tool for instructors, as it is ready for wherever the lesson wants to go. It performs well on groomers and off-piste, making it a great choice for skiers who want a ski that can handle variable snowpack. However, it may not be ideal for those who prefer slower speeds or a more playful ski. The Y beam layer of Titanal metal creates a responsive and stable ride, and the early rise allows the 99mm waisted ski to perform great both on the groomers and off.

I really enjoyed the chance to bend my mind on a freeride ski that is also a daily usable ski. I found this ski excelled at speed and in mixed conditions. The TI of this ski adds a great suspension element that allows me to feel confident in every condition.

The Atomic Bent 100 Skis are a playful and versatile all-mountain option that are designed to excel in soft snow and off-piste conditions while still providing solid performance on groomed runs. Developed in collaboration with professional skier Chris Benchetler, these skis offer a freestyle-oriented experience that is both fun and responsive.

The Bent 100's feature Atomic's HRZN Tech, which incorporates a horizontal rocker in the tip to provide additional floatation and maneuverability. This technology helps the skis plane on top of powder and enhances their performance in soft and variable snow conditions. The skis also have a lightweight wood core, making them easy to maneuver and ideal for skiers who enjoy exploring the mountain, hitting natural features, and engaging in freestyle skiing.

While the Bent Chetler 100 skis excel in soft snow and off-piste conditions, they may not offer the same level of stability and edge hold as more traditional all-mountain skis on hardpacked or icy terrain.

My overall impression was whoa, it was sweet in powder. It is a super fun, easy turning ski. You don't necessarily need to lay it on edge. You can kind of just like weasel your way around the mountain. These things checked all the boxes for me. I had an absolute blast.
