In the world of snowboarding, the Lib Tech Cold Brew and the Bataleon Whatever are two boards that have made a name for themselves. Both boards are designed for intermediate to advanced riders and are known for their versatility and high-quality construction. The Lib Tech Cold Brew is praised for its high-speed carving and ability to float on top of deep powder, while the Bataleon Whatever is lauded for its ability to handle all types of terrain and conditions. However, the Cold Brew is not ideal for freestyle oriented directional shape, and the Whatever might be a little soft for bombing hills. In the end, the choice between the two comes down to personal preference and riding style.

The Lib Tech Cold Brew Snowboard is a board designed for intermediate to advanced riders looking for a fun, and incredibly versatile board for all types of snow and terrain. It has a freestyle design and a twin board feel, making it super easy to control in tight situations that can be encountered while riding variable terrain through trees. The board is known for its super high-quality construction, high-speed carving, and ability to float on top of deep powder. However, it's not ideal for freestyle oriented directional shape.

The Cold Brew is Lib Tech's most affordable board and one of the best sellers. It's perfect for riders who are looking for a fun, directional all-mountain board that will have their back in all conditions. The board's C2 profile gives you the rocker in the middle and the camber under the feet for that increased edge hold when you need it and the float when you don't. The Magne-traction tech from Lib Tech ensures that same edge hold when you are riding through those icier conditions and keeps you gripped into that hard pack.

This board is a mid-stiff flexing board that is stable and fun to ride. It has tons of pop, so you can also hit those jumps and side hits with no issue. Although it’s considered a directional board, it isn’t overly directional, making switch riding still definitely possible with minimal extra effort.

Cold Brew is hands down the most versatile offering from Lib. It handles off-piste pow crushing while using magne-traction edge tech to destroy groomers and hard pack.

The Bataleon Whatever Snowboard is an all-mountain monster that is ready for whatever riding you have in mind. It's perfect for riders who are looking for a fun, directional all-mountain board that will have their back in all conditions. The board's 3BT technology is the Bataleon special; uplifted sidebases carve like butter and float like a dream.

The Whatever has a directional shape/twin profile that brings you the best of both worlds. You can ditch your entire quiver and finally pick up the one board that can do it all. The board's medium camber with 3BT features tip to tail positive camber in combination with lifted sidebase contact points. This dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail, making turn initiation even smoother, increasing float in powder, and handling of the board in rough terrain.

This board is a mid-stiff flexing board that is stable and fun to ride. It has tons of pop, so you can also hit those jumps and side hits with no issue. Although it’s considered a directional board, it isn’t overly directional, making switch riding still definitely possible with minimal extra effort.

This board is incredible when it comes to do-it-all style riding. Softer side of medium makes it forgiving yet capable when it comes to all mountain and its killer in the park. Can take some solid speeds and carves really nice while feeling responsive. Playful for anyone trying to get some pop or do some butters. It's really the quiver killer of all boards, just as it says in the name 'Whatever'.
