Expert Reviews of the 4FRNT MSP 99 Skis
Cat Leonowicz I work in a resort demo shop, and the 4FRNT MSP 99s are one of the first skis out the door in the morning, if not the first. This ski is durable even in rocky conditions, can float in the thickest, heaviest powder, and can still cut a nice edge on an icy day. Regardless of the conditions, these skis will ride the same nearly every time. These are ideal skis for a beginner learning how to carve or a lifelong skier who wants a stable, smooth ride down the hill. This ski is, without a doubt, one of the best and most versatile all-mountain skis on the market.

Turn Ease
5/5
Cat Leonowicz gave 5 of 5 stars. One of the reasons I would pick this ski for a beginner or someone who didn't know what they wanted in a ski is because of how easy it is to turn. The lightweight rockered tip of the ski makes it easy to initiate turns. Even on steeper slopes or icy terrain, these skis still turn smoothly.
Playfulness
4/5
Cat Leonowicz gave 4 of 5 stars. The 4FRNT MSP 99 is an excellent all-mountain ski. This ski is predictable and does what it advertises. This ski is not a freeriding ski, so it doesn't ride like a freeriding or park ski. The ski is still light and free-flowing, but if someone is looking for a park ski, I recommend looking at other models of 4FRNT skis, such as the Devastator or Switch.
Durability
5/5
Cat Leonowicz gave 5 of 5 stars. One of the best things about the 4FRNT MSP 99 is how durable a ski it is. It's an all-mountain ski that rides nice and withstands poor conditions without constant coreshots. Skiers get the most out of their investment with this ski in terms of durability and performance year after year.
High Speed Stability
5/5
Cat Leonowicz gave 5 of 5 stars. The 4FRNT MSP 99 is not a charging ski and won't shoot skiers off as fast as other skis might. However, skiers can still perform at a steady, smooth pace when they pick up speed. Even at high speed in poor snow conditions, these skis can keep skiers upright and gliding down the hill.
Carving
5/5
Cat Leonowicz gave 5 of 5 stars. The 4FRNT MSP 99 is a great ski for beginners because it is easy to get on edge. The skis' easy maneuverability makes it easy to carve around turns and ride through a field of moguls. These skis can also carve well through glades and trees, allowing skiers to edge quickly on high-speed carves.
Versatility
5/5
Cat Leonowicz gave 5 of 5 stars. One of the things that really makes this ski so great is how it performs so consistently on a variety of different terrain and conditions. The consistency in performance makes this ski great for a beginner trying to make the most of the mountain. Additionally, this ski is the ideal one-ski quiver for any skier who wants a smooth, predictable performance.
Flotation
5/5
Cat Leonowicz gave 5 of 5 stars. Powder, choppy snow, or a slushy day, this ski can stay above the snow and plow through the worst of it. I have yet to take this ski into super deep powder, but with how well it floats in ankle-high powder, I'm sure it could still do just fine in heavier, deeper powder.
FAQs
Why did you choose this product?
Cat Leonowicz I had heard reviews saying it was a great all-mountain ski, so I wanted to give it a shot.
What do you love about this product?
Cat Leonowicz Even in the worst snow conditions, this ski remains stable and predictable. I know exactly what I'm getting, and that's what I love about this ski.
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Cat Leonowicz My favorite moment riding these skis was when the conditions were choppy, icy, and overall bad. My friends were on other pairs of skis and having a rough time, but because these skis helped me stay above and carve through the worst of the snow, I still had a great time on a bad snow day.
