The Curated Take

4.0/5

The XXIO 13 Hybrid is a lightweight and forgiving club, ideal for players with mid to more moderate swing speeds who need assistance with mishits. It features a large sweet spot, ensuring consistency and distance even on off-center strikes. The hybrid provides a high launch off the clubface, filling the gap between irons and fairway woods effectively. However, it lacks workability for players who prefer shaping shots. The club's design prioritizes distance on mishits and swing speed for seniors or high-handicap players, making it suitable for those seeking reliability and ease of use on the course.

Expert Reviews of the XXIO 13 Hybrid

Jacob Wetzel For players who need a reliable option to fill the gap between their irons and fairway woods, the XXIO 13 Hybrid is highly forgiving and consistent from a variety of ground conditions. This hybrid provides high launch off the clubface and maximum distance and is designed for mid to more moderate swing speeds. Top ball strikers looking for the ability to shape shots will be better off finding a more workable hybrid; however, this is one of the best for those needing assistance on mishits.

Forgiveness

5/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 5 of 5 stars. This hybrid is designed for players with more moderate swing speeds to maximize distance on shots struck off-center. The sweet spot on this club is large, and mishits travel a playable distance. In a variety of ground conditions, this hybrid interacts well with the turf and provides a high launch even when golfers do not make their best swing.

Feel

4/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 4 of 5 stars. The XXIO 13 Hybrid is lightweight. Its weighting allows players who struggle to swing freely to swing hard with confidence. When solid contact is achieved, the feeling at impact is buttery and effortless.

Workability

3/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 3 of 5 stars. The XXIO 13 Hybrid is all about distance on mishits and picking up swing speed for seniors or high-handicap players. Its workability level is low on this one, and top ball strikers who like to move the ball left and right should look elsewhere for a more tour-ready hybrid.

Distance

4/5
Jacob Wetzel gave 4 of 5 stars. For a hybrid designed for more moderate golfers with swing speeds of 90mph or less, I was still able to crank out my normal hybrid distances and similar ball speeds with my swing. This hybrid performs exceptionally well on shots that are struck on the toe or heel of the club, providing much-needed distance for when players miss the center of the club.

Jacob Wetzel My favorite moment with the XXIO 13 Hybrid was the time I spent on the Wild Dunes driving range at Isle of Palms, hitting controlled shots into the ocean breeze.

Why did you choose this product?
