Expert Reviews of the Line Pandora 94 Skis
Sara Beeken The Line Pandora 94 thrives in softer snow both on groomed trails and off-trail. It's a lightweight ski, making it ideal for lighter-weight skiers and skiers who want to prioritize ease of use. I tested it out a few times in different conditions. My first day was an icy, crusty day at Powder Mountain, UT, reminiscent of East Coast conditions. There, I experienced quite a bit of chatter especially in the tips of the skis.
However, once I got this ski on softer snow, it really shined and showed its playful personality. Despite not being a twin tip, there's enough camber in the ski that I could really feel the energy and pop when I hit jumps! As long as the snow conditions are decent, it grips the groomers really nicely for some smooth carved turns and holds up well at moderate and even fast speeds.
The Pandora 94 is an ideal all-mountain choice for intermediates up to lighter-weight expert skiers, especially in the West.

Turn Ease
5/5
Sara Beeken gave 5 of 5 stars. One if its best qualities is its ease of use. That's what makes the Pandora 94 accessible to intermediate level skiers who are looking to progress and get off-trail. It has a good bit of tip rocker which assists with turn initiation. And the lightweight construction means skiers don't have to work super hard to get it up on edge or quickly pivot through some tight trees.
Playfulness
5/5
Sara Beeken gave 5 of 5 stars. Despite not having a full twin tip, the Line Pandora 94 stays true to the brand's freestyle roots with its poppy, energetic personality. Skiers can really feel the energy that comes from the carbon filaments. It's soft enough to smear one's turns and have smooth landings on jumps without sacrificing too much stability at speed when they're ripping groomers. It's not a park ski, but skiers can certainly have a blast launching it off jumps, whether it's a side hit off-trail or a jump in the park. But I wouldn't suggest landing switch without a twin tip.
High Speed Stability
3/5
Sara Beeken gave 3 of 5 stars. As a 120lb aggressive skier in the West, I've had great experiences with the Pandora 94's stability at speed. But it's not the stiffest ski in its category, so it's possible that stronger skiers who are really charging could hit a speed limit on these if they're skiing on firmer snow.
Carving
4/5
Sara Beeken gave 4 of 5 stars. The one area where the Pandora falls a little short is its edge grip on ice. But it's a bit of a compromise for the ski's lightweight construction. The 2025 version of the Pandora addresses this by adding a beefier sidewall, which adds a little weight but means that it grips firm snow better. So, if someone wants a lightweight ski, look at the 2024. If they want something more stable when carving on firm snow, check out the 2025.
Flotation
3/5
Sara Beeken gave 3 of 5 stars. The Pandora 94 isn't a powder ski but a great all-mountain ski that can handle a few inches of freshies. They are definitely more at home in soft snow, but the sweet spot is under 5" of snow. There's a little more tip rocker in this one than the Pandora 84, so if skiers want a bit of float in powder, it's not a bad choice. But if someone really wants something that will keep them on top of the snow, go for one of the wider Pandoras.
Versatility
5/5
Sara Beeken gave 5 of 5 stars. One of the Pandora 94's strongest qualities is its versatility in terms of ability and terrain. With a 94mm waist, skiers can take the Pandora almost anywhere on the mountain. It's quick edge to edge on groomers, pivotable in trees and moguls, and can even handle a little fresh snow.
Durability
4/5
Sara Beeken gave 4 of 5 stars. The Line Pandoras come from a brand that's used to making skis that can endure repeated hits on rails, boxes, etc. So, like their park skis, the Pandoras are solid. But as with any lightweight ski, one can't rule out the possibility of damage. The topsheet holds up well compared to other skis. But Line does have a great warranty program in case someone's ski delaminates.
FAQs
What do you love about this product?
Sara Beeken I love the Pandora 94's versatility and ease of use. It's a fantastic ski for both new to off-piste skiers and more experienced skiers who prefer a lightweight setup. That makes it a great ski to progress on that skiers won't outgrow.
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Sara Beeken My favorite moment on this ski was the day I changed my opinion about it. When I skied the previous season's version of it, the conditions were icy and less than ideal, so it was hard to get a good feel for the ski in the conditions it was intended for. Then I got to take it out in some softer snow at Eldora, and it really came to life. It's poppy, energetic, light, and a great fit for a broad range of skiers.
Why did you choose this product?
Sara Beeken I've chosen this product for a huge variety of skiers. From lightweight advanced-expert skiers to intermediates looking to get their first all-mountain ski, the Pandora 94 is a blast. I often choose this for skiers in the West because of how well it does in soft snow compared to chunder or hardpack. When the conditions are good, the Pandora is great.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Sara Beeken The Pandora's price point is hugely appealing to skiers who can't or don't want to spend a ton. There are not many skis in this price range that would appeal to more advanced skiers, but the Pandora offers an accessible option. Its simple wood construction with just a little bit of carbon keeps it out of that upper price range and also keeps it light and nimble.
