The Curated Take

3.7/5

The Nordica Enforcer 94 Skis are designed for advanced skiers seeking high-end performance on groomed slopes. With excellent edge grip and versatility, they excel on hardpack while remaining adaptable to varied terrain. The ski's stiffness and two sheets of metal require a forward skier stance and constant engagement, making them less suitable for lighter skiers or those who ski backseat. However, they offer exceptional durability and stability at high speeds, making them ideal for aggressive skiers looking for a reliable, high-performance ski.

Ideal for
  • Very high-end performance on groomed slopes
  • Excellent edge grip for groomers
  • More versatility than most skis in this class
Not ideal for
  • Not great for someone skiing backseat
  • Need to be constantly engaged—no lazy skiing
  • Too much stiffness for light skiers

Expert Reviews of the Nordica Enforcer 94 Skis

Bryant Leech The Enforcer line has become so popular because of its top-end performance on hardpack while still providing enough versatility to ski elsewhere on the mountain. With a stout two sheets of metal in this ski, it demands good form and forward skier stance to really be able to get the most out of it. It's a strong, aggressive, and powerful ski for those looking for the ultimate in groomer performance. At 94 underfoot, this iteration of the Enforcer would be a good choice as a one-ski quiver for an East Coaster that predominantly stays on the hardpack but wants something that can survive the occasional powder day. In the West, I would say it's going to be more of someone's groomer day ski with something else likely needed on deeper days.

Review Ratings

Turn Ease

3/5
Bryant Leech gave 3 of 5 stars. The ease of turning this ski depends on a skier's ability level. An expert-level skier will likely find this ski easy to turn, pushing the rider into the front of their boots and only needing to be laid on edge to perform high-speed turns. An intermediate on this ski is likely to find it more demanding and get worn out with its inability to make sloppy turns. This ski demands a high level of precision and technique to give skiers ease of turning.

Playfulness

2/5
Bryant Leech gave 2 of 5 stars. This ski is stiff, powerful, and directional. None of that screams playfulness to me. A larger person and an expert skier who can bend this ski will find it a bit playful. Skiers should look elsewhere for a playful ski if they are not.

Durability

5/5
Bryant Leech gave 5 of 5 stars. These skis are great for durability and have proven to be among the skis that have stood the test of time. My pair has endured constant abuse and still looks almost brand new. The Enforcer is well-built and has excellent ski construction that will last.

High Speed Stability

5/5
Bryant Leech gave 5 of 5 stars. If one finds the speed limit for these skis, let me know what it is! I have pushed this ski faster than almost any other ski I have been on, and it still holds up. Its weight keeps it planted, and its stiffness allows for zero issues with high-speed stability. This ski eats speed up!

Carving

4/5
Bryant Leech gave 4 of 5 stars. If someone is looking for a versatile option that can also carve like nobody's business, this ski is it. This is one of the best skis in this width for unlimited carving performance. It holds a great edge. Due to Nordica's rocker matching its turning radius, it carves like a longer ski. I personally like to ski this ski a little small as I think it skis pretty long.

Versatility

4/5
Bryant Leech gave 4 of 5 stars. This is one of those great skis that works for both East Coast firm conditions as a one-ski quiver or as a firm day ski out West. Both would be excellent options for this ski. This ski can handle most conditions up to super deep powder with relative ease.

Flotation

3/5
Bryant Leech gave 3 of 5 stars. This ski is excellent in soft snow due to its relatively large amount of rocker in the front. While I wouldn't want to be on it on very deep days of +8" or so or any moderate powder days, I think this would be an excellent option. However, there are better options in the Enforcer lineup if someone wants something for lots of soft days, but this is excellent for the occasional powder day.

FAQs

What do you love about this product?

Bryant Leech The Enforcer 94 is a stiff and powerful ski for aggressive skiing at high speeds. This ski allows for almost limitless speed and holds an impressively good edge even in icy conditions. The rocker profile makes it nicely adaptable to a large variety of different terrain and snow conditions as well. The 94 width is also a nice option for those from both firmer snow climates and areas that receive more snow.

Why did you choose this product?

Bryant Leech I have been on most of the Enforcer line and have always enjoyed my time on this strong, capable ski that has just enough flexibility to ski everywhere. These skis always surprise me with how they are happy to ski in almost any condition I throw at them. I would say the 94 might be the embodiment of the Enforcer line in that it strikes a great balance of really being able to ski everything well. Outside of super-deep snow, I don't think skiers would be unhappy on an Enforcer 94 in almost any condition.

What is the value for the money versus other options?

Bryant Leech Five years ago, there weren't too many competitors to this ski. However, the success of this ski over the last few years has certainly gotten the attention of ski manufacturers and has resulted in a ton of similar options. I think that is great, as this ski is an excellent one for others to emulate with its very well-rounded ability to do a lot of things well. If skiers are looking for something a bit softer in terms of performance, the Salomon Stance and Rossignol Sender series are both great options. If someone wants a more stout option than the Enforcer, the Blizzard Bonafide should be on their list. Sometimes, the original is still just the best.
