DPS Wailer A112 RP Skis
Skiing up high on the mountain, everything from trees and moguls to the back country. This ski is unlike any other, I can't say enough great things about it. With a tight turn radius this ski is excellent for picking through tight couloirs and trees, has the stability to charge down anything at high speed, and is an absolute dream in deep snow. The carbon reinforcement throughout the ski makes it super bouncy and easy to load up and keeps any chatter at a minimum.
100 underfoot and lightweight. These skis are incredibly sturdy for how light they are, and the smooth flex makes for an intuitive ride. These are supremely versatile. Rocker tip and tail, and easy to quick-turn and pivot when needed.
These are the best of the best when it comes to fat touring skis but you do pay for it. They are the lightest in their class and ski really well.
Black Crows Ferox Freebird Skis · 2020
The most playful shape of the Freebird line. These are a a lightweight touring specific big mountain ski, with 110 mm underfoot. The added width will definitely help in deep powder. Still these skis charge in hard snow and do remarkably well for a lightweight ski at this width. Still pretty easy to maneuver, especially if you have good technique.
These guys are 110 underfoot and light but still maintaining the feel of an alpine ski, no chatter. You'll feel confident on the way down and light for your turns. These are a DREAM to tour on. These can handle anything you throw at them, and then some!
DPS 112rp Pagoda Tour Skis Orange
Impressively, these skis have a 15m turning radius, tail and tip rocker that still leaves you with about 55% of an effective edge. These skis will float like a dream, help you blaze the trail for the rest of the group, and save energy on the ascent. DPS uses ash and paulownia woods, with carbon laminate and aerospace foam to give this ski incredible performance and durability without adding weight!
K2 Mindbender 115C Alliance Skis · 2021
These are a more powder focused pick. Really great shape and stiffness that keeps them performing on hardpack as well. Made with carbon for a more damp and responsive ride producing a really maneuverable and more playful option from K2 that still stays true to their durable and energetic builds. A nice powder focused rocker for the soft stuff plus a nice energetic camber that will lay down a turn in even the iciest conditions.
Powder, open trees, those days when we get "upside down" snow.
Icelantic Saba Pro 117 Skis
Great for deep pow but also stiff enough for hard charging big turns with no chatter. Side cut mimics the camber. Intermediate skiers will excel on this ski. Handmade in Denver with a full 3 year warranty. Super durable and high quality.
At 117 underfoot this men's ski by Icelantic comes with full tip and tail rocker, making it the perfect ski for floating in deep powder. At the same time this ski is stiff enough to minimize chatter, letting you have a stable ride.
K2 Reckoner 112 Skis
These have a rocker, camber, rocker profile so they will handle resort skiing better than most dedicated powder skis, but they have a strong rocker in the tips and tails and 112 underfoot to keep you afloat. It has an intuitive turn radius so it is comfortable turning short in trees or wide in open powder.
This ski has the proper balance of tip and tail rocker with camber underfoot -- meaning it holds edges well on groomers but can stay afloat on deeper snow without issue. Super-versatile powder ski that will perform in any condition.
Rossignol Blackops Gamer Ski
Deep pow all day long! So much pop, the black ops is super energized and will be playful on side hits but roll with you if you take it on big lines.
This super versatile ski can handle the deep stuff and give you the playfulness you need in a park run.
Can be ridden all over the mountain in really any conditions, but it excels when in fresh snow.
Atomic Bent Chetler 120 Skis · 2021
The Bent Chetler is a powder dream ski made like a boat hull to surf with the HRZN tech tip and Tail. With a large rocker profile this ski will float no matter how deep you get. A Light wood core is made from poplar for stability and added carbon back bone that runs the length for the ski for extra agility and edge hold without the weight. Also, have you seen the graphic!!??
Salomon QST 118 Skis · 2021
Lightweight poplar wood core with cork dampening in the tips and tails. A twin rocker shape for maximum float in deep powder. Though these skis are massive they're surprisingly nimble in tighter terrain but really thrive in the back bowls and open terrain full of deep powder!
