Nemo Aurora Tent w/Footprint
At 5lbs 7oz, this tent is a little heavier but still light enough for backpacking trips if you don't mind carrying a couple extra pounds! It includes the footprint, which makes this a fantastic price for a high-quality 2-person tent, and NEMO's lifetime warranty sweetens that deal even more! with 31.8 sq ft of interior space and a peak height of 44 inches, this is the largest of the tents I've sent you, although it still packs up relatively small! 2 vestibules add extra space for gear storage, and plenty of great features such as 2-doors, internal gear pockets, and easy set up make this tent worth the extra weight!
Backpacking trips or just a great all around multi-use tent.
Marmot Mantis 2P Plus Tent
Linear-shaped tents are great, because they usually do better in the wind. This one also comes with a weatherproof fly and huge front-facing door and vestibule. Marmot makes quality gear!
NEMO Dagger Porch 2P Tent
Good fit for various types of weather conditions. The top can be used with a net for hot nights and with a cover for cold. The double-wrap "porch" also offers great wind coverage. Awesome amount of storage space with internal pockets and loops for adding lights or other accessories. It’s lightweight and compact for trekking and the porch is spacious enough to relax once it’s set up.
Single front door with large vestibule (aka the porch) so when the weather isn't in your favor you can shed your wet gear outside and keep you and the gear covered before crawling in to hunker down.
Eagles Nest Profly
The Pro Fly will keep you dry in the rain and also keeps the sun off of you when you need a break. Could you use a blue tarp from Walmart? Sure...but you will never get it tight and keep the rain out as well as with a hammock specific tarp!
Great for adding shade or weather protection over a shelter like hammock or tent body or utilizing on it's own for a bare bones and light weight, simple covering.
Hilleberg Kaitum GT 2 Person Tent
Both The Kaitum and the Kaitum GT models are highly versatile all-season tents. Providing a superb balance of remarkable light weight, comfort, and high strength, they are an excellent choice for those who prefer the flexibility of a two entrance, two vestibule design, but don’t necessarily require the extra strength of Hill’s Black Label Keron models. The Kaitum’s GT models’s extended vestibule offers even more space with very little weight add. The standard sized vestibule can be fully rolled away for tremendous venting, while the GT’s extended vestibule has an entrance on each side for more entry/exit and venting options. Its front section can also be rolled back to create a very protected “covered porch.”
MARMOT - AGATE - Green Glow
This is a great ultralight tent option for a couple people, made to last and keep you protected. Also made to incorporate trekking poles for the structure if you want to cut down on more weight.
Rab - Siltarp Ultralite Tarp - 3P - Olive
Hilleberg Stalon XL Basic 14 Person Tent
This is one of the highest quality, largest tents on the market. It's built to withstand any weather conditions, and it's incredibly customizable as you can add vestibules and connectors to fit your exact preferences. This tent has also been used for activities like backcountry classes, when you need everyone in out of the weather!
