St. Croix Mojo Bass Casting Rod
The fact that this is a medium rod gives it enough sensitivity to feel subtle hits, yet provides enough power and flexibility for awesome hook sets, and better fighting ability. This medium rod pairs best with 1/4-5/8 oz lures and 10-17 lb monofilament line (17-30 lb. braid). The fast-action taper of this rod makes it possible for anglers to produce stunning lure presentations, increasing the number of hook-ups. The split-grip handle makes the rod lightweight and ergonomic, for all-day casting without getting tired out; While the 1-piece design makes the rod more reliable during rigorous casting.

All-around excellent bass rod from St Croix at a mid-tier price. This is a dedicated jerkbait rod but, as with the others, there is a whole lineup of these rods for various techniques (top water, jerk baits, jig-n-worm, spinnerbaits, etc). This is an excellent jerkbait option at a 6.8' rod length, moderate power, and fast action. Line weight of 10-17lbs.

St. Croix Triumph Spinning Rod
Great entry-level St. Croix rod with good sensitivity and a lighter blank. It has a little softer tip than most and makes for a good hook set. This is a great rod for most medium sized game fish, and comes with St. Croix’s legendary warranty and customer service!

St. Croix Mojo Bass Spinning Rod
This is a superior brand, and the rod design is nice and lightweight. This is a great angling rod for big largemouth, spotted, or smallmouth bass, amongst other species. The flexibility and sensitivity of the medium rod will allow you to feel the subtle bites, and get a great hook set!

St. Croix Bass X Spinning Rod
Super quality components and a great rod for many different techniques, or even multi-species. It is a 7'1" rod which allows for longer casts than a shorter rod, and more leverage on the fish. This rod is a Medium Heavy (MH) action, which means it isn't super flimsy and whippy, but it isn't stiff as a board either. Medium Heavy is by far the most universal action, and gives a great soft tip section with a tough backbone, to drive hooks home.

BASS, BASS, BASS! For the money, no better bass rod out there IMO. It will cast, retrieve and land fish with the best durability and sensitivity. It can do topwater, mid-column, low-water, and bottom fishing tactics well. If you start getting into chatterbaits, blades, and other lures, this rod can handle its own.

St. Croix Premier Spinning Rod
I recommend this rod because its a great deal on price and its perfect for what you are going to need in your MN travels. The 7 foot length of this rod will help you cast those smaller lures, and the medium action will give you enough backbone to fight some good size fish, but will also give you plenty of feel through the rod. The fast tip on the rod means the tip is a little more "quick" to react to bites so you can see and feel the bite even better.

hSt. Croix makes beautiful lightweight and strong rods that are a pleasure to use. 6'6" gives more casting distance while still benefitting from the ease of use a shorter rod allows. Medium-heavy allows for use with heavier gear, to broaden your range of baits.
Great for heavier jigs, lipless crankbaits 1/2oz or above, and larger swimbaits.

This is a bit shorter at 6'6" for ease of use when bank fishing around brush, etc. med heavy power and fast action for a wide range of applications.

St. Croix Bass X Casting Rod
At 7 foot 1 inches, this medium-heavy fast-action graphite rod is going to be a joy to use in wide open water. You'll be able to sling your baits very far and will have no trouble throwing and retrieving 1 oz lures. Lightweight with incredible backbone power. You can throw jerk baits, spinners, and cranks without feeling like you're fighting your lure in every time. The lightweight graphite build will help you feel when you lure is getting thunked, even on windier days.

This is hands down the best bass rod for the money that is designed to handle any lure or technique you can throw at it from topwater frogs, ned rigs, drop shots or crank baits the Bass x can handle it! Great for the discerning fisherman looking for the best in bass fishing. Perfectly balanced and absolutely a joy to use!

St. Croix Mojo Bass Glass Casting Rod
The best, and I mean BEST, bass rod out there for anyone who doesn't want to spend thousands of dollars. This rod will give you the sensitivity to feel every nibble, but also the power to set the hook hard into those big fish and not have to worry about the rod giving out. 100/10 would recommend. If I could recommend one piece of fishing gear above all else, it's a St Croix rod.

This rod paired with a good bait casting reel is the ideal set up for a high quality beginner setup, and the line guides on this rod provide superior castability. St Croix is backed with their legendary reputation, and is overall the best bang for your buck.

St. Croix Mojo Musky Rod
Heavy, long rod that's meant to handle big bites, when it comes to trolling, that's usually what you're going for. When trolling, your rods take a on a lot of stress under the constant pressure so a heavier rod to take that stress is usually best, and this rod can take it. I think this is a great trolling rod for those walleye and at an affordable price for the strength this rod has.

St. Croix has become a standard in the freshwater fishing game. Known for their top of the line bass and big game rods, a St. Croix rod is one you cannot go wrong with. The Mojo musky rod is designed to maximize comfort and cast longer and more smoothly. With the heavy power of this rod, it can withstand even the heaviest of musky.

St. Croix Panfish Series Spinning Rod
St. Croix is a company that makes very dependable and durable fishing rods, you can be very confident spending your money knowing that you will be able to enjoy it this summers trip as well as many more trips in the years to come as long as you take care of it (rod sleeves are a life saver)! This rod will be perfect for your trip as it is an ultra light rod which will allow you to feel even the smallest of bites which is excellent for jig fishing (the best way to catch them in the summer)

This rod is perfect for fishing small streams and creeks in pursuit of rainbows, browns, and brookies. It can cast between 1/32 and 3/16 oz. lures, and it can be used with 2-6 lb. monofilament line. The fast taper of this rod makes for better lure presentations and it makes the rod bend near the tip for better sensitivity. This type of bending allows for more play when fighting the fish, as well.

St. Croix Legend Xtreme Casting Rod
This is the Rolls Royce of St. Croix rods! This rod can do it all. You really can put this rod through the ringer and it'll perform the same as when you bought it. It is one of the most sensitive on the market, and when flipping cover, you're going to want to feel every nibble. Coupled with a good reel and fluoro or braid, you'll stick every fish that crosses your path.

St. Croix Legend X Casting Rod
St. Croix really came out swinging with this high-quality rod! Everything about this just screams quality! Hand-crafted with sate-of-the-art technology that is not only in the carbon they use, but even the fiber that the carbon is made from. This rod even is built to have more action to give you that sensitivity you need, but built to be strong and flexible. You will feel everything while having complete control of the fish. Not only is the rod superior in quality but it comes with a 15 year warranty through St. Croix!

St. Croix Legend Xtreme Spinning Rod
Great for all bass fishing; It has the strength to keep up with heavy lures, yet the flexibility to use with finesse techniques.
This is a powerhouse of a rod for being rated a medium. This thing provides excellent casting distance and accuracy, and it will make your lures dance like they just got to prom! The rod is lightweight, and the handle design makes it comfortable for a full of casting and catching.

St. Croix Legend Tournament Walleye Spinning Rod
This is a high quality rod from a well known brand that will last a lifetime. The medium action almost automatically sets the hook for you and is great for anglers just getting in to the sport. High Modulus/ high strength carbon blank provides unreal strength and durability so you wont have to worry about bangin it around the boat a little bit (white claws will do that to ya). This rod is perfect for throwing shad raps, husky jerks and other lipped swim baits. Jigs also work very well with this rod because the fast action at the tip allows you to control the jig well.

A carbon made rod designed specifically for targeting walleye. This rod will give you maximum sensitivity and control of your lure, allowing you to pick up on even the lightest walleye bites. Great for both jigging 1/8 oz - 1/4 oz jigs and casting and reeling 3-5 inch hard baits.

Specific tailored to Walleye, this rod offers great performance and will allow you to try multiple methods of fishing.

St. Croix Premier Casting Rod
At 7' with a medium-heavy power, this rod offers great casting AND exceptional fighting strength. The guides are designed to prevent friction on the line as well. This is a one piece rod with a weight of 4.7 oz (just over a quarter pound!) You can toss up to 1 oz lures and use up to 20 lb mono.

St. Croix Triumph Salmon & Steelhead Spinning Rod
8’6 heavy action will go against the strongest fish out there, and run plugs With the best action. May be slightly heavy for drift Set ups but will work if you prefer heavy action rods.

St. Croix Mojo Yak Casting Rods
While technically designed for kayak fishing, the length and power will be well suited for fishing heavier lures like whopper ploppers. This is a great rod for the price point and will absolutely hold up to heavier fish while still being sensitive with the carbon blanks St Croix uses for this rod.
