Daiwa Tatula CT 100 Casting Reel
Great for all applications of fishing! It is an incredibly durable reel that is built with an aluminum frame, which reduces reel flexing and reduces the wear and tear of the reel.
Daiwa BG Spinning Reels BG2500
This size 2500 reel from Daiwa's Big Game series is a force to be reckoned with! This reel comes equipped with a 13.2 lb. Automatic Tournament Drag system. This drag system uses a lubricating grease that thickens when it moves. This makes for an incredibly smooth drag that maintains control of how much line is unspooled. It also has Digigear technology, which means the gears are specifically fit together so that they can be smaller AND stronger. The spool can hold 6-10 lb. monofilament and up to 30 lb. braid. The spool capacity is 6/210, 8/170, 10/140 of monofilament and 20/170, 30/120 of braid (lbs./yards).
This is a great starter reel that will last a long time with good, all-around performance. It's a great fit for someone who is learning to fish and isn't committed to just one type of fishing or species.
Daiwa Eliminator Saltwater Spinning Reel ELT8000 - 5.3:1
Eliminator spinning reels are built for larger and stronger fish for that long fight. Long casting ability in order to capitalize on surf fishing.
Daiwa Procyon AL Spinning Reel
Great all-around bass reel. On the retrieves, it gives you fine control that you won't find in most reels. Its drag system stays adjusted well over time and allows you to control runs with fine control. Workmanship is excellent for the price point and this rod will do well when constantly wet, for example, when fishing from a kayak. It's perfect for topwaters and worms.
13 Fishing Creed GT
This is a great reel with a very sleek profile. It has a 13 lb max drag and a spool capacity of 145yd/12lb (monofilament) and about 220yd/20lb (braid)! This is a no-joke reel for some serious fishing! With the 6.2:1 gear ratio, you get the retrieve needed to make killer lure presentations and keep the hook set, even while pulling fish out of thick cover!
Daiwa Exceler LT Spinning Reel
This is a great reel for bass or whatever else you are after in freshwater, plus it is durable and strong enough for saltwater fishing! This reel has a carbon drag system that maxes out at 22 lbs. of force and a spool capacity of up to 160 yards of 16 lb. monofilament. This combined with the 5.3:1 gear ratio and 5+1 ball bearing system gives you an incredibly smooth reel that is fantastic for landing some big fish! Oh yeah, and even with all this power, the reel only weighs 7.5 oz, so it won't wear you out during a long day of casting!!
Daiwa Tatula 100 Casting Reel
The Tatula is great for casting far and covering a lot of water due to its T-wing technology. The front bar drops down to open up a larger channel for line to leave the reel and increase casting distance.
Shimano Curado DC
If you want something that'll let you throw many different size lures in large bodies of water this is the reel for you. The DC chip makes casting incredibly easy. You can switch up lure size and hardly notice a difference in casting ability. Great for many types of fishing. Great for everything from largemouth and smallmouth, to walleye and northern pike. Ideal for rivers, big open lakes around docks and marinas, and even in saltwater. Super enjoyable to fish with and the DC chip is a reel (pun intended) game changer!
Daiwa Tatula SV TWS Casting Reel
This reel from Daiwa is the MOST angler friendly reel on the market. Backlashes are hard to come by. Set it and forget the spool tension knob. The braking system is easily the most user friendly on the market. Daiwa's highest end reels use this braking system. The Tatula SV is their lowest priced reel where this technology is still available. Prepared be blown away at how awesome this reel is for casting, and it's ease of use. SV stands for Stress-Free Versatile. It lives up to that billing. This is Daiwa's most popular reel at any price point.
This reel has an Ultimate Tournament Carbon drag that maxes out at 13.3 lbs. and it has a spool capacity of 100 yards of 14 lb. monofilament or 30 lb. braid! The unique, special thing about this reel is the fact that it has a T-shaped line guide to help reduce friction and backlash! (SV stands for Stress-free Versatile, if you were wondering)
Lew's KVD Speed Spin Spinning Reels KVD200
This reel is lightweight and features aluminum frame and sideplates. It has DuraMax drag for smooth and strong drag. It's great for effortless long casting!
