Völkl M5 Mantra Flat Skis · 2021
A classic ski, super stable while being versatile for a variety of snow conditions thanks to its construction, shape, and waist. It is great for ripping on groomers, bull-dozing through crud and provides stability on tough snow.

This is a ski that's designed to go fast and hard. These skis are incredibly stable and with 96mm width, they can ski over just about anything. When conditions get rough and choppy, these will blast right through.

The epic Mantra M5 is equipped with tip and tail rocker, carbon tips, a titanal frame, and unmatched durability. It's a great daily driver to blast through the crud and handle varied conditions with authority.

Salomon QST 99 Skis
The QST 99 is one of the easiest skis to recommend for a wide range of skiers. It performs well in all conditions and has a great blend of stability and forgiveness. You can ski it hard or take a more laid back approach and still have a ton of fun on this ski!

Great skis from Salomon and they rip! Responsive, great at chopping through crud, and hold a good edge on ice. They are lightweight and playful but plenty stiff keeping you stable at high speed.

It's powerful, stable, and agile. Gives confidence to always push your limits. It can handle ANY conditions with ease. This ski rips!

Salomon QST 92 Skis · 2021
The tapered shape from tip to tail gives these quick edge-to-edge performance, making those groomers and turns a lot of fun! This ski has a powerframe titanal plate mid-ski, giving these bad boys a good amount of rigidity to help you transfer that energy from edge to edge, and it also contributed to dampening and crud you may blast through. To boost the dampening and vibration absorption abilities of these skies even further, Salomon used Carbon Powered C/FX and Cork in the construction. These are going to give you a fun and smooth ride all over the mountain, especially on groomers. This is what can be considered a one-ski quiver, seeing as it can do a little bit of everything and excel!

At 92mm underfoot, this ski is quick edge-to-edge, which is great for groomers, and it has rocker for flotation in fresh snow. It has a lightweight build that makes it quick and nimble, but it also has a metal insert under the binding that gives it stability and strength for holding an edge. This is a really versatile ski for all kinds of terrain that is also quite forgiving.

Versatility! You'll be able to use this pair anywhere on your local mountain. It carves very well on the groomed runs, but it floats on the deeper snow so you're set for a decent powder day. You don't have to worry about changing skis halfway through the day to accommodate for different conditions.

Völkl Kendo 88 Flat Skis · 2021
Volkl constructs an amazing ski giving you the flexibility and power where you need it most without all the fluff. This ski has a blend of carbon, wood and tetanal to give you the dampness and stability of a full metal top sheet but the playful and pop of a wood core ski with the strength and durability of a carbon machine!

This is a great ski if you're looking to start progressing a little bit more into not only groomers, but also off-piste terrain at some points. They are incredibly stable, and really fun to ski in all conditions.

Amazing options for skiing groomers and getting into the woods! Legendary Volkl edge grip!

Nordica Enforcer 94 Skis · 2021
This is an all-mountain ski that is heavier than other skis for more power. The weight can come at the cost of some maneuverability, but the Enforcer is a ski that still performs really well, despite its mass. The benefit of this heavier ski is that it can soak up vibrations a bit more effectively. When you're pointing it downhill and the snow surface is a little rough, these will crush it.

Slightly wider than its predecessor, this ski will rip all over the mountain. A damp ski, this is on the heavier side and will incredibly stable at speed but will still excel in trees and in tight turns.

2021 skis from Nordica! These things rip! Metal laminate, rocker, mid-waist width, very very versatile skis!

Faction Candide 2.0 Skis · 2021
The Candide 2.0 is one of the better all-mountain options that we have today. This ski can take you just about anywhere while still being able to show off in the park. Nimble yet stable when you need it to be and capable of floating you down your favorite powder stash.

It's a soft flexing freestyle ski that holds solid lines on the hardpack while still being wide enough to get you into the soft stuff for those days it starts dumping at noon.

Everything! From ripping groomers, to powder, trees, chunder, ice, or even the park! True all-mountain ski.

Völkl Kenja 88 Skis · 2021
The Kenja is a perennial favorite for lady shredders looking for a ski to carry them everywhere on the mountain! This ski combines Volkl's legendary performance with a lighter-weight, women-specific design that is incredibly versatile without sacrificing power. Volkl re-designed the Kenja last season with a brand-new Titanal metal frame construction - essentially removing the solid sheet of metal inside the ski, and replacing it with a metal frame that leaves the center of the ski a pure wood core! This lightened up the Kenja considerably, making it easier to maneuver and reducing leg fatigue, as well as making it more energetic and springy for a great carving and mogul experience! At 88mm underfoot, the Kenja will excel and carving gripping on firm snow, while its new and improved flex will help propel you from turn to turn on groomers or trough to trough in moguls! Lightweight, all-mountain performance for the intermediate to advanced lady shredders!

This is a narrower version of Völkl's most popular ski. This one has a wood core with a titanal metal frame that makes it crazy stable on ice and at speed. It has a decent amount of pop underfoot for super easy turn transitions, it is seriously a fun ski! This ski is built for all-day groomer and ice ripping. A solid light core and metal frame makes this ski stable and maneuverable.

A great frontside classic from the Volkl family. At 88mm underfoot, these are great for carving up the groomers and enjoying the trees, as well. A lively pop with slight camber and rockered tips/tails allows the ski to float through those great powder days! Great for frontside, groomers, bumps, and trees.

Völkl Secret 92 Skis Women's · 2021
This ski will handle groomers and powder with easy! Responsive and damp meaning you'll have a super smooth ride!

This ski will handle groomers and fresh snow with ease. Responsive and damp making for a super smooth ride!

All-mountain skiing - anything from icy East Coast groomers to powdered tree runs!

Nordica Enforcer 100 Skis · 2021
Nordica designed the enforcer line up with a freeride rider in mind. These have a slight twin tip for the occasional switch rider. Now with the early rise, this ski is surprisingly maneuverable in the powder. The 100mm underfoot is a proper balance between a groomer ski and a powder ski. This is a very good choice if you're looking for a daily jammer.

Literally any condition. Bulletproof ice, crud, or some fresh snow — it'll handle anything! You can ride these skis on days that start out frozen and soften up in the afternoon sun, and you'll still feel confident all day long.

Tip and tail rocker along with the 100mm width underfoot mean these guys can handle a powder day, but they also really shine on firmer snow, where they're known for their stability and can arc a turn as well as any competitor.

Salomon QST LUX 92 Skis · Women's · 2021
This is an incredibly fun all mountain ski that will be light and playful but still stable and smooth turning on crud! This ski will hold an edge well on groomers but is still wide enough to float in the powder!

Groomers, bumps, trees and pow! Really solid all-mountain ride. Great stability and the ski offers enough forgiveness to not beat you up when you're having an off day!

Tremendous all-mountain option that has great grip on ice, loves to carve on groomers, and is nimble enough for moguls and trees! Amazing one-ski quiver.

Rossignol Black Ops Escaper Skis · 2021
This ski has some great new technology. First it has a damp tech which reduces ski vibration for increased snow contact and smooth control in variable conditions. It also has an air tip, where the tip is filled with air to retain maximum torsional rigidity. This helps to redistribute your weight to focus it on the center of the ski and allow for more control and powder beneath your feet.

This ski is designed for all-mountain shredding. It has rocker in the tips and tails which means it will ski great in soft snow and powder, but it has camber underfoot, meaning it will hold an edge well on hard snow and carve up groomers. It is 92mm underfoot which is really versatile for all snow conditions. All mountain skiing, more powder and soft snow skiing.

93 underfoot this ski is designed to charge all mountain! It can handle ice to powder with all the trees and bumps in the middle! You'll have a great time out on this ski wherever you choose to take it.

Dynastar Menace 98 Skis · 2021
Sweet skis from Dynastar! These will take you all over the mountain and let you rip while doing so! Super fun and playful skis. These are billed as Dynastar's "daily driver" ski, meaning that they are meant for just about every condition, whether it's groomers, moguls, trees, or powder. These aren't super stiff, so can be turned quickly, and they have that classic Dynastar feel on the harder snow.

It's a ski that will hold its own in the park but will take those tricks out in the open better than some others! It holds its own if it hasn't snowed for a while. And it's got some pretty sick graphics!

This is an extremely fun and versatile ski. They've got a lot of pop and energy, but are still stable enough when you need them to be. These are a blast in the trees, nimble and maneuverable.

Völkl Blaze 94 Skis · 2021
This is a new ski from Volkl this year and it's getting rave reviews!! Light enough to tour on but still has Volkl's quintessential edge hold and precision feel. Stable and damp with titanal underfoot this ski carves on groomers!! It has the new 3D radius technology so it intuitively and easily makes variable radius turns depending on speed and terrain!! Absolutely great and versatile ski!!

This is an all mountain ski at 94mm underfoot. It'll handle the tight spots, bumps, trees etc. very well. Light, poppy, and playful!

Nordica Enforcer 104 Free Skis · 2021
An awesome all-mountain slayer. This ski is a bit on the heavy side which translates to great crudbusting, but it does take a competent pilot to maneuver as a result. The 104 model got an early-rise tail which makes it more freeride oriented and maneuverable overall.

One of the most versatile all mountain wide skis. At 104mm underfoot, you can float in softer snow, but still hold an edge on firmer snow. Metal in the construction gives the ski stability and dampness, while rocker and medium flex provide playfulness.

A super damp, stable, hard-charging ripper. This ski performs all over the mountain and handles every terrain like a champ. Nordica makes some of the best skis on the market and the Enforcer 104 is one of their most popular offerings!

Salomon QST 106 Skis · 2021
All-mountain dominance. The QST line is a freeride ski that features innovative technology for optimizing the balance between stability at speed with maneuverability.

Great dampening on the crud days both tip and tail but good float and pow charger when mother nature provides!

Powder and backcountry as well as the occasional huck and cliff drop.

Head Kore 93 Skis · 2021
Really popular ski in the past few years. Super lightweight, easy to maneuver quickly, 93 underfoot means you can get edge to edge quickly but still float in a little bit of snow. The construction of this ski makes it light but stiff so it'll go fast and cut through the crud.

The narrow waist and substantial build will allow you to rip anything from cord to crud. It has a layer of metal in it that will offer stability while the 14m turn radius provides a quick turn engagement.

Hands down the standout ski from 2019! Kind of a unicorn ski because of how light but stiff it is! Totally rips hardpack, but is relatively light for the uphill!

Fischer Ranger 94 FR Skis · 2021
A snappy ski built with precision and energy to spare, the Ranger 94 FR is part of Fischer's Freeride series for serious all-mountain riding! These planks were engineered to excel at everything the mountain has to offer - carving down groomers, venturing off-trail, navigating through trees, and lacing right moguls. This energetic ski will practically get you airborne between turns if you push it hard enough, while its generous rocker profile and twinned tips make it easy to release from turns and perform above its class in powder and chop. It is also fairly lightweight to help keep leg muscles from becoming too Jell-o-ey after a long day on the slopes. A great option for intermediate skiers who want to hone their skills across the whole mountain, or advanced skiers looking for a ski they can push hard and reap the rewards.

Equally at home in the fluff and on the hardpack. These have outstanding maneuverability in tight spots thanks to the lighterweight build and the especially light tips. Camber underfoot and plenty of stability railing groomers as well.

Rossignol Experience 76 CI Skis + Xpress 11 Gw Bindings · 2021
This is the Experience 76 underfoot. A solid groomer ripper that is underrated for messing around off-piste too! A solid all-mountain ski that prefers groomers, but will not hesitate to punch through choppy snow, play in the trees, and bounce around moguls!

This will be a great pair to learn on. They are lightweight, maneuverable, and a stable platform. As you improve though, they will still be solid since they have a wider enough platform and are a stable ride.

An 76mm waist-width and rocker at both ends makes this setup a solid all-mountain ski, good for pretty much anything you can find in the Midwest.

K2 Reckoner 102 Skis
This ski is designed to meet the need of all terrain one would find in the mountains. The proper balance between a powder skis and a groomer ski. Tip and tail rocker with camber underfoot is the best shape you can ask for. The shape makes it a very versatile ski.

The Reckoner is a new freestyle ski from K2 that is extremely fun and playful in soft snow. 102mm underfoot gives it good float, while soft tips and tails and low swing weight make it great for throwing tricks and playing all over the mountain.

All mountain riding and boot to knee deep powder days!

Liberty Origin 96 Skis · 2021
A super versatile ski. Great for fresh and variable snow. Can be pushed hard. Light enough for touring and powder skiing but strong enough for groomers and hardpack. Playful and nimble enough for tree and mogul skiing. It has a bamboo and poplar core that offers a high strength-to-energy ratio, making for a light ski that packs a punch. Carbon fiber adds strength without adding much weight.

Versatility. The rocker and tail let the Origins float in powder. But the camber and modest 96mm waist can still provide confidence on groomers. Not to mention the Origins got enough pop in them to get funky on side-hits.

Having fun all over the mountain in any condition. This ski can carve groomers, shred tree lines, ski switch, and still performs great in shallow powder.

Salomon QST 85 Skis · 2021
The QST comes with metal underfoot for great stability on edge, while keeping your tips and tails light to allow you to pivot easily in tight terrain. This ski provides great suspension, without the punishing feel of some stiffer harder charging skis. The QST 85's construction allows for a very versatile on-snow performance. The metal plate that runs along the midsection of the ski allows you to remain strong and stable on edge, while the rockered tips give you the ability to float in some fresher snow and pivot through moguls. This ski can confidently take you from icy groomers to bump fields, and into pow stashes in the trees!

Fun groomers and on-piste skiing and trees and moguls that do not have a ton of fresh snow.

Atomic Vantage 90 TI Skis · 2021
The Atomic Vantage 90 Ti's are a great ski for skiing groomed terrain, and they have the nimbleness and float for tree skiing and powder skiing. A more advanced model than the other options in this list, the Vantages require a little more work to get them to do what you want to do, but once you get them under control hang on cause these things want to turn!

This ski is super fun, versatile, and digs its edges deep when you carve! Great east coast ski that can handle light powder but it really excels at icy conditions, groomers, or hard pack snow with dominance!

Dynastar M-Pro 84 Skis · 2021
From groomers to trees, the M-Pro 84 does a great job being both lively and quick edge-to-edge but stable enough to really lay it down with it natural poplar core. A bit of a tip and tail rocker will maintain float on deeper days, despite its relatively narrow waist.

Völkl Blaze 106 Skis · 2021
Early rise tip but solid underfoot. This is a lighter and more playful ski than some others, without losing any durability. Definitely light enough to tour on, and super fun for a soft day inbounds. Plenty of edge-hold for hard-pack when you need it, and these things are effortless to turn. The ski will make touring a breeze, and the ride down an absolute blast. The sidecut of this ski delivers amazing turns, the material used keeps it lightweight and durable, and the profile gives you the responsiveness, effectiveness, and control to really charge hard and continue progressing all over the mountain.

Early rise tip but solid underfoot. This is a lighterweight, more playful ski than the Mantra or Secret. Definitely light enough to tour on, and super fun for a soft day inbounds. Plenty of edgehold for hardpack when you need it, but these things are effortless to turn.

Wide and light to float well in soft snow, but carves turns easily as well as some of Volkl's other heavier skis. Super solid on edge.

This is a great ski for cruising the groomers and jumping off into the bumps and trees! 85 underfoot means this ski will be quick edge to edge and will make stable smooth turns! Very fun ski!

Head Kore 105 Skis · 2021
Skiing fast on any kind of terrain. The rockered tips keep you floating over any powder or chunky stuff. The cambered middle section along with a very sturdy yet lightweight core keep your edges in contact with the snow at any speeds.

Charging really hard. As a directional freeride ski, these are build for high speed turns and big airs in chopped up resort conditions. It can shred groomers with ease and rip every aspect of the resort with a ton of charging power.

High speed cruising or a one-ski quiver that wont burn you out on the skin to the top if you want the option to tour but maintain a good platform for the on resort days.

The carbon maintains torsional rigidity meaning this ski is stable and turns like a champ! 90mm underfoot makes this a perfect all-mountain option for someone who likes to also cruise on the groomers!

Great for skiing groomers, hardpack, and powder as well! Excellent blend of stability and forgiveness. A real do-it-all ski!

Being accessible, it's a really great ski for almost anyone looking for an all-mountain ski that's not too overstable.

K2 Mindbender 99ti Skis · 2021
This is a good one for pointing it downhill and tearing up the mountain. A cleverly shaped metal laminate makes the ski damp, firm, and pretty heavy for great vibration absorption, but it's not cumbersome or unruly. They are great for skiing aggressively in variable conditions.

Awesome for groomers but also wide enough to hit powder stashes when mother nature provides!

Will hold an edge on hardpack and is versatile for the rest of the mountain.
