Nordica Enforcer 94 Skis · 2021
This is an all-mountain ski that is heavier than other skis for more power. The weight can come at the cost of some maneuverability, but the Enforcer is a ski that still performs really well, despite its mass. The benefit of this heavier ski is that it can soak up vibrations a bit more effectively. When you're pointing it downhill and the snow surface is a little rough, these will crush it.
Slightly wider than its predecessor, this ski will rip all over the mountain. A damp ski, this is on the heavier side and will incredibly stable at speed but will still excel in trees and in tight turns.
Salomon QST 92 Skis
The tapered shape from tip to tail gives these quick edge-to-edge performance, making those groomers and turns a lot of fun! This ski has a powerframe titanal plate mid-ski, giving these bad boys a good amount of rigidity to help you transfer that energy from edge to edge, and it also contributed to dampening and crud you may blast through. To boost the dampening and vibration absorption abilities of these skies even further, Salomon used Carbon Powered C/FX and Cork in the construction. These are going to give you a fun and smooth ride all over the mountain, especially on groomers. This is what can be considered a one-ski quiver, seeing as it can do a little bit of everything and excel!
At 92mm underfoot, this ski is quick edge-to-edge, which is great for groomers, and it has rocker for flotation in fresh snow. It has a lightweight build that makes it quick and nimble, but it also has a metal insert under the binding that gives it stability and strength for holding an edge. This is a really versatile ski for all kinds of terrain that is also quite forgiving.
Versatility! You'll be able to use this pair anywhere on your local mountain. It carves very well on the groomed runs, but it floats on the deeper snow so you're set for a decent powder day. You don't have to worry about changing skis halfway through the day to accommodate for different conditions.
Salomon QST LUX 92 Skis Blue Green Light Blu
This is an incredibly fun all mountain ski that will be light and playful but still stable and smooth turning on crud! This ski will hold an edge well on groomers but is still wide enough to float in the powder!
Groomers, bumps, trees and pow! Really solid all-mountain ride. Great stability and the ski offers enough forgiveness to not beat you up when you're having an off day!
Rossignol Teen's Skis Blackops Women's Dreamer
An all-mountain ski with a freestyle-oriented design that makes it great in soft snow conditions or the terrain park in addition to the groomers. Comes with bindings so it's definitely a good deal for someone looking to get into their first setup.
Cruising groomed runs, working through mogul fields, and the wider waist will hold its own in soft snow.
Rossignol Sky 7 HD Skis · 2020
Having fun all over the mountain without taxing your legs. They have a very similar construction to the Soul 7, but are a bit narrower and lighter with a 98mm waist width. This makes them a bit more maneuverable and better suited for quick turns, bumps, and tight trees. 98mm is still plenty of float in powder, but you won't have your tips and tails chattering and smearing when you get back onto the hardpack like some other powder-specific skis.
These are the perfect waist width ski at just under 100mm. Ideal for carving edge to edge on the hard pack as well as floating through fresh powder on the snow days. The award winning honeycomb design has been improved and the ski have won just about every award since they were first introduced about a decade ago. Super light weight tip and tail while remaining stiff and stable at speeds under foot.
Völkl Kenja 88 Skis · 2021
A great alternative to the highly recommended Black Pearl's. Arguably more stable and damp in the crud, ice, and hardpack than its competition thanks to a Titanal frame and carbon tips. This is the perfect ski for an intermediate-expert skier that wants something that can charge down the groomers but can also have fun in the bumps, trees, and occasional powder day.
This is a narrower version of Völkl's most popular ski. This one has a wood core with a titanal metal frame that makes it crazy stable on ice and at speed. It has a decent amount of pop underfoot for super easy turn transitions, it is seriously a fun ski! This ski is built for all-day groomer and ice ripping. A solid light core and metal frame makes this ski stable and maneuverable.
A great frontside classic from the Volkl family. At 88mm underfoot, these are great for carving up the groomers and enjoying the trees, as well. A lively pop with slight camber and rockered tips/tails allows the ski to float through those great powder days! Great for frontside, groomers, bumps, and trees.
Icelantic Nomad 95 Skis · 2021
Handmade in Denver, these skis are tested by the toughest and developed by the best. High tip and tail rocker that provides a lot of float, mix that with it's soft core made out of wood and fiberglass and you have yourself an award-winning ski (it really did take home some awards though).
The Nomad from Icelantic is made in the USA and getting rave reviews over the last few years for its versatility and performance!! These skis are fun and playful but still can hold an edge in the crud!
Völkl Revolt 95 Flat Skis · 2021
The Volkl Revolt is designed for park skiers who like to shred and play on the whole mountain! 95mm underfoot is the perfect width for slashing pow but also carving on the groomers and setting up for the perfect big air!
This is a new age true all-mountain park ski, wide enough to take on varied conditions but still playful enough to perform on park features. This ski hides from no run!
Rossignol Experience 76 CI Skis + Xpress 11 Gw Bindings · 2021
This is the Experience 76 underfoot. A solid groomer ripper that is underrated for messing around off-piste too! A solid all-mountain ski that prefers groomers, but will not hesitate to punch through choppy snow, play in the trees, and bounce around moguls!
This will be a great pair to learn on. They are lightweight, maneuverable, and a stable platform. As you improve though, they will still be solid since they have a wider enough platform and are a stable ride.
Dynastar Menace 98 Skis
Sweet skis from Dynastar! These will take you all over the mountain and let you rip while doing so! Super fun and playful skis. These are billed as Dynastar's "daily driver" ski, meaning that they are meant for just about every condition, whether it's groomers, moguls, trees, or powder. These aren't super stiff, so can be turned quickly, and they have that classic Dynastar feel on the harder snow.
It's a ski that will hold its own in the park but will take those tricks out in the open better than some others! It holds its own if it hasn't snowed for a while. And it's got some pretty sick graphics!
