These are a fun and playful ski from Blizzard that are made to shred but also feel nice and cruisy on the groomers. The woodcore is responsive while the titanal laminates will keep it feeling nice and stable. They are going to be slightly wider underfoot (92mm) which means they'll float on the occasional pow day but they've also got an impressive sidecut and a nice rocker/camber profile that's going to allow you to lay them on edge and carve some deep turns on the groomers.

This full poplar wood core creates for a playful ski that has optimum stability and a sensational rebound. Furthermore, this ski construction filters vibrations and creates a nice ski to snow contact. The twin rocker profile on this ski paired with a shorter turn radius creates a ski that will switch from edge to edge quickly in the bumps. Ultimately, this ski is for the skier that wants to float in the powder, play in the bumps and have a strong ski on the groomers.

The Blizzard Sheeva is 90mm underfoot making it the perfectly waisted ski to carve well while also having a rockered tip and tail to float in the powder. Blizzard makes some of the snappiest and most responsive skis: they've implemented their Carbon Flipcore technology to ensure that within the Sheeva! This ski will perform well on groomed East Coast, remain responsive in bumps, and provide you with flotation when you travel west!

The Sheeva has a dynamic flex pattern that gives you a stiffer mid ski and softer tips and tails. This means you get great control on edge and won't have trouble when things get icy with the sturdy core underfoot. And the softer tips and tails will keep the ski easy to pivot and won't catch. The tip and tail rocker make turn initiation easier and will add some float for days you see fresh snow.

A great ski that is playful, yet flexible and still very stable. With the 3D convex twin tip and tail, these skies are equally good at jibbing as they are at hitting the moguls and getting through the trees or into other icier conditions. They're perfect for riding switch or doing butters. With the 107mm waist that's good for soft snow, these things work really well for those trips to the resort. A great all-mountain ski that is very surfy and slashy and super fun.

Expert Q&A
The biggest thing when picking ski gear for kids is to size it so it’s fun and easy to manage! Kids tend to be pretty light and they don’t need a long ski that just causes more torque on their knees. Usually I like to size little kids right around chest to chin height for skis and up to a couple inches longer if they’re growing quickly or it’s the end of the season and they’re buying for next year. Older kids can be on longer skis, more in the mouth to nose range. Ski style depends on what the kid wants to do - park, all-mountain, carving.
Kids need adult skis when they’re too tall, heavy, or advanced in their ability for kids skis; it’s not an age thing. Some kids might go toward adult skis much earlier than others. It’s all about matching the ski to the skier type, and the budget, as adult skis tend to be more expensive.
The sizing is the first indicator of junior skis. Generally they only go up to about 150cm in length. Kids skis also often come mounted with a system binding that’s rated for 4.5 or 7 DIN, lower than an adult binding and often requiring a youth norm boot. They tend to be constructed out of lighter and more forgiving materials as well.
