These are a 2022 version of an amazing ski! The K2 Mindbenders are a solid ski from a great manufacturer. The 2021 version of these skis sold out fast! They do have a titanal layer that will make them strong and stable on groomers and icy conditions, so they'll be a bit heavier than the options above. However, these are a much more intuitive ski vs. the Enforcers. These skis won't have you in the backseat as they're much more forgiving. 177cm, 90 waist, these will be a great intermediate-advanced ski that will feel strong and stable, but still forgiving. These will be heavier than the options above.

A slightly more piste-oriented all-mountain ski that likes to get on edge and go fast. At 90mm underfoot this ski is exceptionally quick edge to edge. With titanal metal in the core its a stiff and stable ride that rips hard and fast. Slight rocker in the tip gives it off-piste chops and float in softer snow. The stiff flat tail however is great for finishing turns and propelling you into the next.

This is a great option for an intermediate to expert-level skier. These skis offer great edge grip and versatility in a 88mm width. Stable and precise in the forebody of the ski as well as underfoot, and the skis' metal taper allows for a more playful and fun release from the turns. This ski is engaging, stable, and powerful. Their construction using a maple and aspen core with a Y-beam made from titanal gives this ski an exceptional feel on groomers and when you're carving. The front of the skis has a very engaging leading edge due to the metal over the edges. While the lack of metal over the tail edges makes the ski a bit more playful in the rear. Overall this ski is one made to charge through the chop and crud you'll find on the mountain and while it can handle the soft powder due to its width, its is less of a freeride ski compared to an all-mountain ski.

K2 has been classic in the all-mountain scene forever. These have a solid sidecut to allow for easier turn initiation, while the oversized tips create ideal floatation on the pow pow. The added Titanul is great for stiffening up the ride a bit so you can charge through the chop and crud.

Coming in around 1850g per ski at this length, the Cochise and Mantra are around 2300g, but due to Head's unique build construction, these perform more like those heavier skis. They obviously will deflect and chatter more than heavier skis, but these are very impressive for their weight. Easy on the legs too!

Steep, chalky terrain, variable snow conditions, and big fast GS-sized turns. You can lay over the ski and trust it to not wash out, and it'll smooth out rough, afternoon groomers. This ski is a great balance of stability, suspension, and pop. If you can drive into the turn, it'll spray up a ton of snow and launch you out of the exit. The tapered, rockered shovel never feels stuck in the turn or pulls harder than you want. It makes for a predictable ride in variable terrain and choppy snow. The weight is a good compromise between the maneuverability you get from a lighter ski and the stability and suspension from a heavier ski.

This ski is on the lighter side in its category, and is overall more for finesse than force. It's not a crudbuster, but it's sturdy and reliable. The edgehold is solid but not hooky like a race ski. The Fischer Ranger 99 TI is a ski for an advanced-to-expert level skier who values maneuverability and carving with the interest of getting into the softer stuff as well. It is a true all-mountain ski for someone who wants something equally at home in the bumps and trees as it is on the groomers. A stiffer ski that won't overpower you that you can ski all day on, this ski has a titanal laminate and carbon nose that stiffens the ski. The carbon nose starts as a backbone around the midpoint of the ski and then widens as you move forward until it consumes the whole shovel and tip of the ski. The titanal layer is full-width underfoot, giving you great edge-to-edge contact and extending down to the tail to make your turns more energetic.

An all-mountain skiing favorite, the Ranger 99 Ti gives the all-mountain rider a one-ski quiver that can handle almost any condition and terrain on the hill. A partial metal laminate leading into a carbon nose provides for a stable and powerful ski that is still light. That carbon nose also contributes to the light swing weight of the skis making them fun even when you get in the tight stuff. An Aeroshape wood core also stiffens the ski in carves, combining the maneuverability with the torsional rigidity to make for a ski that floats and turns quickly while being able to lock into carves and power down the mountain.

The Salomon Stance is the anti-thesis to Salomon's popular QST line: Whereas the QST is playful and nimble, the Stance is built more for driving trenches down the fall line on groomed runs and hardpack. The Stance sports two layers of metal to give it extra strength and stability, but Salomon milled out the metal in the front and rear of the ski to keep it lighter and a bit more approachable. The Stance is a daily driver for skiers looking for a confident ski that can rip up groomed runs at high speed.

Absolutely rips in every condition with it’s mid-fat waist, lightweight Aspen Veneer wood core and carbon stringers woven into it which’s adds pop and rebound. This is a lively ski that can handle it all. The all terrain rockers has a gradual rise to the tip allowing it a lot of versatility and with the short, low rise in the tail it has added control in the variable snow.

Excellent handling in a variety of conditions from big powder days to softer snow on the frontside. No metal in these skis makes them playful and surfy, leading to excellent float when you need it. But with K2's carbon fiber weave, these remain torsionally rigid enough to get on edge when the conditions are not perfect or at the end of a day when everything is tracked out.

These are good for just about everything. The hrzn tech tip adds a littel surface area to the shovel without making it wider, so they float well without a huge tip than hangs up skiing steep. The spoon shape also makes them track more predictably through chop and crud.

This is a phenomenal big mountain ski for powder performance! Fun and playful. Light but can still charge the crud and chop between powder stashes.

This ski is designed with aerospace engineering and space-age materials to keep it LIGHT but still charging with none of the chattery feel you associate with a light ski, crush any powder line, bump run, groomer cruddy outrun - these skis can do-it-all and will leave you smiling! You'll probably want to use them on hardpack days too, they're that much fun!
