Shimano SLX Casting Rod

$99.99

This 1-piece, extra fast casting rod is great for using lures to catch things like bass, pike, bluefish, and drum! The fact that it is one, solid blank makes it more reliable when casting all day, while the extra fast taper allows for more precise movements of the lures to make more lifelike presentations. The reel seat is a Shimano custom, and it has EVA foam grips for extra comfort. The split grip design allows for direct contact to the blank, making better sensitivity. Better sensitivity makes it easier to feel subtle hits. This version of the SLX pairs best with monofilament line between 8 and 15 lb. test or braided line between 10 and 30 lb. test, and lure weights between 1/4 and 1/2 oz.

Temple Fork Outfitters TFG w/ Fuji Guides Professional Casting Rod
#6 in the Top 10 Casting Rods of 2022
Temple Fork Outfitters

Temple Fork Outfitters TFG w/ Fuji Guides Professional Casting Rod

From $99.95

Temple Fork Outfitters' TFG Casting series is a line of durable casting rods with a powerful butt and a moderate/fast action. The emphasis in this series is durability. They will hold up against heavy use and against the elements. The moderate fast action that this series has honed in on is ideal for reaction baits like spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, and buzzbaits. The slightly slower tip allows the fish to get the lure in their mouth and it allows for a solid hookset without pulling the lure out of fish's mouth and letting the fish swim off. The moderate fast action also offers anglers more leverage when fighting aggressive fish.

Daiwa

Daiwa Saltist Inshore Casting Rods 2020 Models 7 feet 6 inches - Medium-Heavy - Extra Fast

$139.99

The Saltist Inshore casting rod series by Daiwa features blanks that are made of High Volume Fiber, high-modulus carbon-graphite. This means that the blanks are more rigid, making them more sensitive even in the high-power models. This also makes the blanks more strong and durable. The 1-piece design makes the rods more reliable when casting repetitively, and it makes them more durable while fighting large fish like drum, flounder, bluefish, bass, or pike. These rods offer precision as well as power; the extra fast taper allows for precise lure movement to enhance presentations and trigger more strikes. This medium-heavy model operates best with line between 12 and 20 lb. test monofilament or 15-40 lb. braid. Lures between 3/8 and 1 oz. are recommended.

Daiwa

Daiwa Proteus Boat Conventional Casting Rods 7 feet 6 inches - Medium-Heavy - Fast

$199.99

This is a great boat rod, especially for trolling! This medium-heavy rod power allows the rod to bend between the middle and the butt of the rod, providing better hook sets and fighting power. The one piece design of the rod ensures better durability and no rod separation when casting. The rod can also be used to cast lures or baits for various fishing situations. It can cast 15-30 lb. monofilament or 40-80 lb. braid without creating the friction that reduces casting quality!
