Meet the Atomic Hawx Prime XTD 120 GW. The line between all-mountain skiing and freeride touring is getting thinner. If you’re looking for a ski boot ready to do both, then this is it. Combining Prolite construction and the all-mountain capability of Hawx Prime with the touring ability of the Backland Free/Lock 4.5 ski-to-walk mechanism and Frictionless Pivot, this is a boot that does it all. Complete Tech inserts in both the toe and the heel allow for maximum touring binding compatibility. This XTD 120 model has a slightly softer plastic construction than the top-end XTD 130 model.

Best boot

I use them on piste with my redsters s9 as well as touring 4-5 hour tours in the backcountty . They really do it all, my other boot is a SLab 130 but I hardly ever use it anymore , this boot is perfect for big ski days spent on corduroy same as in couloirs. Flex index is accurate and is comparable to regular alpine boots . What a time to be alive , having boots like this

Comfort and Performance

I was skeptical about choosing a hybrid boot as I don’t really spend any time touring, but a lot of time on piste in the moguls, and off piste on the trees and the deep. Exceptional comfort from the time I first put my feet inside, but more importantly, incredibly responsive and lightweight making these boots true downhill performance machines.
My first pair of Atomic boots, and now sold on the legendary Hawks fit.
