The Strive binding takes a lot of notes from Salomon's now famous Shift binding. The ascetics remain very similar between the two bindings and so one would venture they share a lot of characteristics. While the shift is a 50/50 touring binding, the strive is a binding more for the masses. Salomon has been in the business of making very... Read more
Ideal for
- Great ascetics for a binding with a low profile toe piece
- Low weight for a binding
- Built off a reliable platform (the shift binding)
Not ideal for
- Potential pre-release issues have come up with the shift binding in the past
- Not the best power transfer
- The shift toe piece had issues, its to be seen if this will

The Salomon Strive binding is a solid option if you are looking for a 12 DIN binding that is affordable. These bindings are built well and seem to be able to withstand whatever you want to throw at them. I have used these bindings on a couple of versions of the Salomon QST and have found that they transfer power... Read more

Zach pays attention to your needs!
5 /5
Zach was great at listening to my request and desires out of equipment. As a 1wk/yr skier. He coulg have just said yep here is your weight, ht. budget and here is your gear. Instead he really paid attention to the issues I have had with gear in the past. The desires I had out of my future gear. Look forward to maybe giving an additional review and feedback when I use this gear in a few weeks.

My first time making a snowboard purchase. Brenden’s on point he took the time to find out my skill level, and was where I was planning on going. How much I was willing to spend. He gave me a lot of recommendations broke them down to me and even gave me advice on where I should go around my area. If you need help he is the guy.

Quick chat with Charlie, easy to figure out what i needed and what fit my needs. Ended up going with a classic ski and binding that I've used in the past that has been updated and is going to be a banger. Cheers Charlie, thanks for the assist.

Ethan was super helpful
5 /5
Ethan helped me find some really great boots that I wouldn't have really even thought of. I haven't purchased new gear in probably 10 years. A LOOOOTTT has changed. He introduced me to the Dalbello Cabrio line 3 piece boots that have more flex, which I really need with my repaired ACL! He's also torn/repaired his, so we had that in common - super helpful. First season back on the slopes since my repair, so I really need something that can handle my moment / easier on my knees. I like the tongue removal component he suggested since I do have a foot with a plate and pins in it as well. Getting into traditional boots is a giant pain! Looking forward to trying these out!! Thanks Ethan !
