The Strive 14 features an ultra low-profile toe piece which creates a low center of gravity. This enhances a skier’s power, control, and response due to enhanced sensitivity. The binding lets the characteristics of the ski and slope excel, creating better day on skis.

The Salomon Strive 14 GW bindings are a great option for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable binding. At $259.95, they're on the lower end of alpine binding prices, and they have a large din range of 5-14, so any intermediate to advanced skiers will be good candidates for them. The biggest issue I have about them is that... Read more

So far, they have held their own and... Read more

I put these Salomon Strive 14 bindings on my new 4FRNT Devastators last season and was thoroughly impressed with their performance and durability. They replaced my favorite bindings ever, the Salomon STH, and to be honest, I was a bit doubtful, given how much less metal there is in the Strives. However, I couldn't have been more wrong. These things... Read more

Ok, but flawed for hardpack.
Originally posted at www.salomon.com on Jan 27, 2025I wanted to love these bindings, but I think they caused a crash I had yesterday. After 15days without issue, I skied hard packed groomed on my 102 wide stances. If a binding flexes, it can cause chatter. I was chattering like crazy. When I got home I realized that the self adjusting toe on the Strive 14 has a ridiculous amount of flexibility (which is bad). I wouldn’t worry about it for lighter or less aggressive skiers. I’m 205 and have been skiing all my life. I didn’t have any problems on soft snow, but carving hard on midfats was pretty horrible.

Durability is horrible
Originally posted at www.salomon.com on Jan 18, 2025The plastic is garbage, way better off getting some look pivots or another more durable binding

Mike helped me out with knowledge about boards, goggles, helmets, etc. He answered every question and was really patient with me. Even went above and beyond and made a video comparing some boards that he recommended and that was really helpful. Made the shopping process really easy and I got some great deals on new gear. Thank you an appreciate you Mike!

I started with spencer in mid to early january and told him that i wouldnt be able to make an actual purchase until mid february. He constantly gave me updates on item availability and continuously found me new items through the entire month that catered to my preferences as i gave them to him. He might just be the best customer service ive ever experienced to date with anything.

Best customer service ever!!

I was in the process of picking out some ski equipment and I got matched with Gary. He was amazing answered every question I had and gave me his opinion on if I was looking into something that was not going to be right for me. He was beyond knowledgeable and it felt like I could come to him with anything. Even when I took a few days to do some more research and make sure I wanted to buy the things that were in my cart he would check in often to make sure I had now other questions. Absolutely top tier easily the best customer service I have ever had when making a big purchase like this.

Tremendous Help
5 /5
Ethan was responsive and very helpful in getting me started with some gear. Having some very limited knowledge in skiing, Ethan was able to provide some great suggestions on narrowing down equipment given my budget and preferred style. He helped me save a ton of time, rather than doing hours of research trying to guess on what would suit me best. With his knowledge I have confidence that I was able to make a smart purchase that I will not regret.
