Let's be honest, not everyone is sending cliffs and doing flips. Because of that, you probably don't need a burly 18 DIN binding. So why not save yourself some money and go with a binding that is still more than good enough for your needs? The squire is a great binding for the average skier. It is very lightweight and will save your knees and release when needed. I've felt that these bindings are great for lighter skiers and younger skiers who definitely don't need massive, burly high-DIN bindings. I've felt that these are great for chill days on the hill or skiing with family, while I might not trust them if I am going big off of a jump, these bindings will be more than enough for almost any skier on the mountain.
