The Curated Take
I've had a version of these goggles for at least 3-4 years just because I like how they fit my face, and I know they really work. I've used them (with 2-3 different lenses) in all conditions and temperatures at resorts and in the backcountry, and they work great! I've hardly ever had problems with fogging, and yet they are very warm. The dark lenses block out a ton of light. The low-light lenses highlight the snow incredibly and can be kind of a secret weapon or game-changer in dim/stormy conditions... I feel like I can depend on the reliability of this goggle. You just have to be careful when changing lenses!
- Great goggle in all conditions
- High quality lenses and wide field of view
- Very well ventilated
- Although the lenses are great, they may snap at the corners if not changed carefully
- May fog if worn when touring
The weather and light are always changing, and the Smith Squad goggles set you up for a crystal clear view through it all. Their semi-rimless design and oversize cylindrical lens yield a wide field of view backed up by sharp optics and our best anti-fog tech. ChromaPop™ lens options heighten contrast and color so every wind lip and terrain feature comes through loud and clear.
