Excellent touring binding

I was impressed enough with my first pair to purchase another set for a new pair of skis. The bindings provide excellent responsiveness for a pin binding, and after 100 days of use, I’ve had no durability issues.

Sweet Ride
Originally posted at www.blackdiamondequipment.com on Feb 22, 2024Light and bomber, I appreciate the ease of getting into and out of this binding. The integrated ski break is a plus., but it's a little tricky getting the break into and out of an engaged position. I have to take off a glove to press the side-button in to release or hide the break. Not a big deal, but after a long skin up, you've got to remember to engage the break before stripping the skins and setting your skis back on the snow. As I first started using the binding last winter, I worried this side button would get jammed up with ice - but that has never been a problem. I'd buy another pair: simple, durable, easy to get into and out of, and yes, when I have needed them to release - they've been willing to let me go.
