The Dynafit Radical Pro Ski Boots are one of the best all-around touring/backcountry boots for aggressive skiers wanting a touring-specific boot that's still comfy too. With a roomy 104 mm Last combined with a stout 120 flex, the Radical offers an easy and relaxed fit in a boot that still allows me to charge hard! The Hoji Lock System sets the Radical apart from other touring boots: the Walk Mode lever is tied to both the Power Strap on the upper cuff and the upper buckle, allowing me to switch from Walk Mode to Ski Mode in one swift motion. So while everyone else is still messing with their boots at the top of the run, I'm ready to ski. And the Pomoca soles give me peace-of-mind traction in even the sketchiest terrain. There certainly are more weight-conscious touring boots available, so skiers measuring in grams should look elsewhere. But for aggressive freeriders wanting an aggressive touring boot, the Radical is a stout and confident boot for the backcountry.
