The Black Diamond Expedition 3 Ski Poles are versatile, 4-season poles for outdoor enthusiasts who need a pair for a backpacking adventure in the summer while utilizing them for ski touring in the winter. These poles come equipped with an extended foam grip to tackle the toughest terrain imaginable with wrist straps. The shaft of the poles features Flicklock® Adjustability to collapse the poles when not in use or extend them when in use. Additionally, the Expedition 3 Poles also come with powder baskets but are compatible with 3/4 baskets.
Key Features:
- Extended Foam Grips – The grips are made from dual-density foam for maximum comfort when hiking, while the extension of the grip allows for an easy traverse.
- Flicklock® Adjustability – The Flicklock® allows the user to collapse or extend the poles with the flick of a button. The collapsed length varies from 22.2 - 24.2 inches depending on size and a 48.8 - 54.6 inches max length.
- Adjustable Wrist Straps – Skiers can adjust these ergonomic straps to use with or without gloves without sacrificing comfort.
- Interchangeable Baskets – The poles include powder baskets for deep snow days but can easily be changed when summer rolls around.

Best poles for splitting!
