- Lightweight and easy to swing around
- Playful (hence the name) ride feel, yet some stiffness underfoot for edge hold
- Versatile 101 width - not too wide to get on edge and carve, but wide enough to float in soft stuff
Not ideal for
- Some tip chatter at high speeds (40 to 50+ mph) on the hardpack, but this is not what the ski is made for

I really appreciated Leo’s honestly as most online reviews of the ski equipment I was looking for were far too positive, and really very few people willing to admit or call out truths about various options, however Leo was spot on and understood exactly what I was experiencing with my current skis which perhaps weren’t the best choice for where I ski. That said we had a huge downfall of snow today and my skis performed absolutely brilliantly, but with Leo’s help I decided to upgrade my skis anyway and also needed bindings for my new Atomic Maverick 88ti skis, following Leo’s advice I opted for the Marker Griffin 13 ID Bindings.
