A burly all-mountain ski with a stiff construction and a freeride inspired shape, the Fischer Ranger 96 is built to handle everything on the mountain and loves to be pushed hard and fast. A versatile 96mm waist keeps turns locked in without sacrificing floatation on deeper days, while the titanium reinforced core adds plenty of stability for those who like to go fast.

Ideal for
- Stiff midsection for good underfoot stability
- Very rockered tip floats the ski up in powder and makes turn initiation easy
- Versatile waist width for a variety of all mountain conditions
Not ideal for
- The rockered tip can be a bit chattery at very high speeds
- It has a rather strong tail which punishes backseat skiing
- For better performance in powder, look to the Ranger 102
