The TaylorMade SIM Max D Driver has a draw-biased design to help players who might struggle with a slice to gain more distance and better performance on off-center strikes.
Key Features:
Inertia Generator – A newly shaped sole and inertia generator helps to improve aerodynamics of the club, increasing swing speed and distance.
Speed Injection – Each head is tested individually and injected with tuning resin to optimize COR (Coefficient of Restitution; maximizing COR means less energy loss at impact) across the entire face. This is to guarantee every driver off the shelf will perform to the top quality.
Twist Face – The face has more loft in the high toe and less loft in the low heel, which produces a more consistent launch and reduced side spin on the locations on the face where most players mishit their shots.
Draw-Biased Design – The crown shape and cosmetics have been changed to make the face seem more open, producing a more closed face at impact.
