The Corvus Freebird is the touring version of Black Crows' staple all-mountain charger the Corvus, and while it is lighter, it is no wimp of a ski. This ski is capable of pulling double duty touring in the backcountry or ripping inbounds laps. Coming in with a 109mm waist and a generous amount of tip rocker, the Corvus Freebird will provide great flotation for when conditions are deep.
The Black Crows Corvus Freebird is a fat freeride touring ski for those who like to save weight on the uphill, but want to ski deep powder with no sacrifice of downhill performance.
109mm Underfoot – This is pretty wide for a touring ski. Great floatation in deep powder, but if you find yourself skiing a lot of firmer snow, this might not be for you.
Rocker/Camber/Rocker Profile – This ski has rocker in the tip and tail, meaning that it will float in powder and be easy to turn. The tail rocker is very slight, so this ski will not feel as “pivoty” as others.
1800 Grams per Ski – This is not the lightest touring ski due to its width, but it is light for its size.
