I like this ski as an option that really blurs the line between a frontside carving ski and an all-mountain option. These are pretty stiff sticks, and they'll give the tail support for laying an edge. However, they also have the shape and flex pattern for some versatility, and will perform really well in bumps too! Again, they aren't going to be the best for carving ice, a truly dedicated carver is going to be best for that, but for getting out into any condition, these will be fun for really...
The Blizzard Brahma is for the skier who finds themselves in everything from groomers to moguls to trees. Not wide enough to deal with much fresh snow, but designed to excel in all types of terrain.
88mm Waist – At 88mm underfoot, this ski is narrow enough to hold an edge and remain precise in really hard snow. Not ideal for powder but will be a joy when it hasn’t stormed in a while.
Rocker/Camber/Rocker Profile – Rocker in the tip and tail eases turn initiation, while camber underfoot provides edge hold and stability at speed.
Dual Titanal – Two titanal layers give the ski impressive torsional rigidity without making it too stiff. Simply put, this ski will have awesome edge hold on hard snow but won’t require tremendous effort to initiate into turns.
Poplar Beech Core – A combo of poplar and beech makes for a light but higher performing core. This results in a stable and damp ride without being too taxing to ski.
Carbon Flipcore – A directional carbon frame enhances precision and stability without significantly increasing weight.
